I'm the CEO of Akamatech, a company based in Mexico city. We deliver automation for homes, corporates and government, bringing custom solution for their problems.

We integrated 11 courtrooms across Mexico, we're we needed to develop a new software for recording all audiences that were done in there. Onikom helped us investigating the equipment we had and the best way to control them to offer the best solution.

Through some friends that have already worked with them. We chose Onikom because of their experience in the field.

Developing a software based on a server, we're the client could schedule audiences, it will generate a token of access to the audience and recording options, it will control our recording software and store that video.

After that they would be able to see all scheduled audiences on a calendar, see stadistics search audiences. It was done on php and mounting a stream server were anyone in the network and with the token access key, could see and control the audience.

Like 4 people, between developers, and sales team.

The project was delivered on time and without issues, we are able to give our client control and experience they didn't have before, I can say both then and we, are happy with the result.

We have been working with Onikom since 2009. Their ethic is one of their most valuables virtues for our alliance. Besides that, they are in continuous capacitation and technological evolution, which let them be prepared with enough knowledge and capacity to serve their partners and customers.

We are always open to a process of continuous improvement. The points that we must perfect in each project are always discussed and implemented together.

Within the company, we have a group of suppliers of different services and technology specialties and we selected Onikom for the specialized profiles they had for our mobile application development needs since they had a specialized technological offer in this area.

In general, the Onikom team focused more on the stages of user experience design and the development of the mobile application following our agile framework based on Scrum within these stages a varied group of tools was used both management (Jira, Teams) and technical (Android Mobile Studio, iOS Dev Tools, DevOps Tools, Testing Tools, etc).

On average between 5 – 15 resources maximum but working on different projects.

The most valuable outcome that was delivered from the project were the applications published in the Google and Apple stores but to get to that and along the way, a series of tools and artifacts were delivered such as designs, architecture blueprints, user manuals, diagrams, use cases, follow-up presentations, etc.

A punctual follow-up was carried out with the sessions (daily, retrospective, grooming, etc.) and the artifacts of the Scrum framework

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I liked the most was the experience and drive of the team to achieve the objectives. The knowledge in mobility, and the punctual follow-up of its assigned manager.

Throughout the project, there was a high turnover rate which caused some deliverables to have to be retaken or redefined.
