I am the CTO of IXily.io

IXily is a dApp for creators of investment ideas to create ideas as encrypted NFTs, prove performance on-chain, charge for and control access to their ideas.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Odev provide all the core members of the development team. Practically we consider them to be full time employees of our business and they have been with us for several years (the same developers). The deliverables are not based on a single project but the overall development of the ongoing business requirements so they do change, but are essentially full stack development for a web3 project (smart contracts & node predominately)

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As a startup, our projects and outcomes are constantly changing and largely depend on the client/market adoption rather just development delivery. We have a lot of trust in our developers that has been built up over a long period so we aren't typically looking to attribute the success or failure of projects to our developers.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

We use Kanban to track progress and allocate tickets to developers and the Slack for communicate. These are our internal tools. The teams are very efficient, very responsive and do work very hard to meet our requirements.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Esteban, the CEO, has a very unique talent; they find high-quality developers that combine technical and soft skills, often with untraditional backgrounds. This saves a lot of pain when hiring but also provides confidence that we can get good developers with the right skills that will fit with our team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Odev could have done differently?

The Odev developers really do become a part of our company. Odev helps to make sure they are happy but we primarily look internally to make sure the project works. We are very happy with Odev - it's not an easy task to find good developers.
