I'm the administrator for competitions and tournaments (events) in my company. I also organise the calendar and upcoming events alongside other responsibilities

Our previous IT was choppy and clunky. We hired Objective to improve our services and streamline slow and poor quality services for our customers, such as the calendar area which allows our client base to create entries themselves

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

One of the EBU board members is part of Objective which assisted in recognising the need for Objective as well as knowing their skill and service was without doubt.

The project was to create a multi user interface for a future calendar whereby event details were prepared for upcoming competitions and licensed events. The package started with created the new web page and then transferring the old calendar across to the new improved calendar. It was tested with various organizations within our union as well which proved its utility and accessibility.

Cath Fox worked with me and was the lead in the project, providing frequent updates and testing opportunities to ensure the service was as requested

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It was such a smooth process that there was no one outcome besides rollout (due to occur shortly) which will indicate how great a success it has been.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Extremely effective. There was no point at which we stumbled aside from my own workload being too much to provide input! These instances were cleverly worked around to ensure the project continued despite my slowness (perhaps asking another member of our organisation to assist with the work or continuing on her own initiative)

We required specifically bespoke database development, including elements of a client, customer, and key accommodation database, searching and allocation of accommodation, plus add-on supporting products and services, which was built from scratch. This needed to be significantly tailored to our specific business requirements with add-on elements of financial control (invoicing and purchasing).

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Budget and time scales were important measures, but also flexibility to add (or remove) aspects that either were not part of the original spec or were but did not work as well as expected. The development progressed at an excellent speed, with very good communication about budgetary implications at every step.

Develop a custom B2B website which interates with our Sage 200 accounting software to allow our customers view our products, place orders which are automatically imported into Sage 200 for processing.

• The website operated with hardly any downtime for a solid decade delivering our customer's orders directly into our accounting system with minimal effort required for processing. 
• Upkeep and content management was super simple and allowed us to keep the website up-to-date and fresh throughout it's lifetime.

Objective always responded very quickly to our questions and needs. They were always super helpful and often went above and beyond to help deliver our requirements.

they have always responded very quickly to our requirements. They have always managed to find a solution to any issues faced. They have always understood the reasons behind building the database and kept the database on track to perform its primary functions.
