I am the CEO and owner of Wiideman Consulting Group, a firm best known for our team of multi-location SEO experts based in the Greater Los Angeles area. We help franchises and e-commerce brands improve visibility in search engine results.

I learned about NowSourcing several years ago when stumbling upon infographics on high-ranking websites. I've been impressed by their work for years and dreamed of a day when we could finally work together.

Brian and his team had a fast and well-structured kick-off call with our marketing team. We provided the research, data, and some sketches of what we were looking for. NowSourcing took the baton and ran with it, rarely needing to bug us for anything other than approvals. They kept us up-to-date through Basecamp throughout the whole process. We had two rounds of feedback on drafts (where we changed our minds, not where they did anything wrong) and had our infographic delivered exactly how we envisioned it within 3 months.

We had three different team members working with us, all super professional and excellent communicators. One was Brian himself, two were working on the infographic.

Wiideman won a Web Excellence Award for our research and for the infographic that supported it. Brian and his team were instrumental in the success of our project and the visibility we earned once the industry started sharing the content.

The workflow was extremely effective, without the need for unnecessary meetings. We communicated via email responses to Basecamp threads for tracking. Very efficient and effective.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Not only did Brian and his team deliver an incredible graphic for us, they also helped us launch the page while we were all stuck at a conference. Not to mention helping us get the word out about the infographic and landing page once it went live. I mean who does that? Extremely impressive!

We wanted to create a visually simplified piece about a remote work challenges and shifts during covid-19 pandemic.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Brian was recommended by a mutual friend. Then we had an intro call, and we knew and I knew that Brian was THE guy for this project.

After the intro call we had another one when we brainstormed the ideas for the infographic with Brian. later his team sent us an outlines of the project with a proposition of texts. We made a few iterations of it and then Brian's team started working on graphics. Later on we put the final piece on our site and Brian started doing his magic with PR.

The team consisted of several people, but my main point of contact was Brian, he was the PM.

Brian met with our team to brainstorm ideas for the infographic. His team sent an outline document with the wording for the infographic. We went back and forth on it a few times to get it just right. His team then created the graphic. We put the graphic on our site and his team promoted the graphic with PR activities.

Our main interface was with Brian, but there were several people on his team that were in charge of doing the work.

Because of the PR work that his team did, we got a nice backing boost to our Industry 4.0 page, which helped us move up in Google's rankings.

Brian's team was great to work with. We have complex products that can be confusing. His team quickly grasped what we do and helped to simplify our explanations with their workflow.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team did not only create amazing infographics but also helped in promoting them by getting it picked up in the press. That is very unique.

The first infographic took a bit of back and forth. The second one we did with them when super smooth.

Creating compelling content has always been a challenge. Even more difficult is getting visually appealing content that really tells a story. We had been familiar with NowSourcing's work for a few years but never really thought we were ready. After referring them to another company we were able to see the whole process and it was time to do an infographic!

We wanted visual content that didnt look my 11 year old made it! We know we are not experts in the crafting of infographics and so we turned to the one company we kave seen do it time and time again.

I had met Brian at SXSW and we have some friends in common. Honestly I have not seen another company who can do what they do, so the selection process was easy!

We developed the story we wanted to tell. They sketched out some ideas We went back and forth both on the big picture needs and other specific details for several weeks. They ultimately delivered the product in the correct resolution and ready to embed or publish - which we did!

I don't recall the specific composition of the team. I believe there was a main contact and there were others who were brought in as needed.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We used their inforgraphic as a mailing that we did to hundreds of our contacts and saw a real uptick in the responses! Basically people saw us present content that was more professional than usual and it led to more engagement!

We found the work to be smooth and their team was responsive throughout.

The people in NowSourcing are great! I also think that their focus on content makes them better at it than if they were also a social media company or also a PR firm.

I had met Brian Wallace 4-5 years earlier at SXSW and had always been looking for the right project to partner with him and his team at NowSourcing. This seemed like a perfect opportunity.

We spent a number of weeks iterating on the concept, then began developing the concept and sourcing some of the unique stories and data points before getting into the creative effort to design the infographic artwork.

The infographic ended up getting posted on the Skype blog, being shared and published by numerous media outlets around the globe (e.g., Mashable, Disruptive Telephony and more).

The NowSourcing team was incredibly responsive and works very collaboratively. We were able to review the drafts and make edits/changes very quickly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their approach to developing infographics is incredibly collaborative, creative, thorough, and impressive. Plus, their help in getting the infographic shared on the social web is an extra value add for a brand.

TruPet, LLC was the parent company of TruDog Pet Food. The company sold holistic freeze-dried dog food to discerning consumers who want to do better for their pets. I was the Director of Marketing Communications and oversaw the owned, earned, and paid media activities for the brand.

The two main goals for the project was to drive brand awareness and traffic back to the website from a domain authority building perspective and ultimately lead generation activities that would grow business revenue.

Founder and CEO of NowSourcing was an online connection that has become a friend. There are other companies that do infographics, but not to the quality that NowSourcing provides.

We saw a significant increase in traffic and new purchases and more importantly email captures to continue to increase the LTV metric. Our social media engagement and reach increase 5X over the average baseline Month Over Month.

As the project manager for this project, the workflow was fairly straightforward. I was the main point of contact for getting the information NowSourcing needed to take the ball and run with it.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The thing I like about Brian and his team is that they were flexible and adaptable, within reason, after the campaign had gone live and our lawyers wanted to make changes.

The team was always timely in making changes even when it was past their scope. I would recommend NowSourcing to any marketing executive looking to use infographics and media relations to increase their share of voice in the marketplace.

If you Google or search anything related to infographics you're bound to come across Brian and the NowSourcing team, it's inevitable. I also read through some of their tremendous case studies and was sold. You get what you pay for and it's worth the investment. Obviously, we are extremely happy.

The infographic project included providing pre-selected data to the NowSourcing team and letting them work their magic. They helped us identify deficiencies and all the while expediting a quick turnaround. It was a major learning process on our end and they made it as easy as possible -- and didn't make me feel bad for not having all the answers.

There were five people involved in this project and it went almost seamlessly -- nothing that a quick Zoom couldn't fix to get us all on the same page.

What challenges were you trying to address with NowSourcing, Inc.?

Consumers aren’t easily able to track the data collected about them, and they aren’t fairly compensated for their data being used in market research. We wanted to address issues regarding peoples’ understanding of consumer data and their rights as consumers.

We wanted to be able to consolidate information regarding the difference between cryptocurrency and blockchain. We hired NowSourcing to create an infographic explaining how blockchain works within different industries.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We looked at areas where there seemed to be confusion about how blockchain works. We provided them with data and actionable information points based on our interviews with consumers and people in different industries. 

After they developed the infographic, they helped us distribute it and get it published in several industry journals.

I believe we worked together in the spring of 2018. The engagement lasted about a month.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

This was the best investment I made for the entire year. They do terrific work. It’s well worth the cost. 

How did NowSourcing, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

They provided ongoing review of documentation. I used their review tool, and they would provide updates within 24–72 hours. They were fast, focused, and very accurate. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were able to distill complex information across multiple industries in a way that made it easily understandable. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I didn’t see anything that didn’t align with my requests or needs. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers? 

A lot of the time, people come in with an idea of what they want their solution to look like. However, NowSourcing helped us refine our focus on the problem we wanted to solve. I think that was a really helpful way of approaching this project, so I would say it’s beneficial for other customers to come in with that mindset.
