BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am a Co-Founder at Kodework. I was running operations at the time of starting this project at Kodework. Kodework is a Web development and Ecommerce Company

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire NineStack?

We at Kodework couldn't build something this complex and hence we had to look for another solution provide who could help with Design, solution architecture as well as the development. The Application to be built had to be super easy to use for the end customer.

What were your goals for this project?

To achieve an MVP within a year. The final product to be user friendly. We also were looking at fitting all of this within the clients Budget which was the main concern. The main Goal of the project was to be the only application in Scandinavia that was out for end users to customise their own wardrobes.

SOLUTION

How did you select NineStack?

The Client was Norwegian, and we are a team based out of Goa so we needed another Service provider close by who we could actively work with. They pitched a solution that fitted our budget, they seemed to have rock solid control over the Architecture of the project as well as how they would implement it. We also really like the Project Leader at Ninestack, Nitish as well as they Solution Architect at the time. These were pretty much the main reasons for choosing them.

Describe the project in detail.

A Web Application that enables customers to design their own wardrobe. A Drawing Program was designed and developed for users to design a wardrobe with sliding doors (also interiors) from the comfort of their homes using the Boman website. At inception of the project, only The Drawing Program was considered : a utility for users to design a wardrobe with sliding doors (also interiors) For the sake of managing products - WooCommerce was considered with WP.

What was the team composition?

Project Lead, Front end Dev, IOS Dev, Android Dev, Backend Dev ( PHP) , they also had a QA team that handled Testing

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Well this application is the sole used application to create Wardrobe for the client. They have over 300+ Wardrobes sold through this application every month. Over 70+ stores using this application. Over a Million( NOK) of revenue generated on a monthly basis.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

There were a bit a couple of issues at the start but once we understood each other working styles and processes it have been very smooth ever since.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive part was how they were so easy to work with, love their culture and their adaptability is just perfect. They are very flexible to our working style and it was just a great match for us.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Their User acceptance testing period could be extended a bit and their pricing for changes needs to be a bit more reasonable
