High Level SoW: The scope of the project was to deliver state of the art B2B platform that would position the bank in the forefront of digital services for corporate customers. Completed setting up of the bank’s B2B infrastructure in record time which includes:
API Gateway - This is the gateway component of the solution architecture that integrates the three components Middleware, SF & Corporate Clients. It provides a security layer and light transformation.
Sterling File Gateway (SFG) - SFG is the system that will be responsible for handling SWIFT & Files. In addition, SFG holds the ITX component responsible for performing industry standard message transformations.
The B2B platform was designed to provide corporate clients with a secure way to send payment instructions and receive reconciliation reports from their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems via the Internet by connecting their accounting systems with the bank’s payment processing engine.
To decommission the old applications to reduce operational and infrastructure cost.
Consolidate the B2B application support from (4-5 suppliers) to one supplier.
Design dashboards to track the status of each payment through timely reports integrated directly into the B2B system.
Deliverables: The following services were made available by the team in the new B2B system, many new customers were onboarded to utilize these APIs.
