I am the owner of a small business bookkeeping and consulting firm.

For what projects/services did your company hire Nickel SEO, and what were your goals?

It was time to grow my company which meant a full website and SEO to increase leads. We needed a fully custom site built from the ground up which was optimized from the beginning.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I'd worked with Jason previously and trusted his judgment on what he and Ben were capable of. He showed me some examples of their work and pointed out adjustments they'd need to make to my original site layout for better SEO instead of just saying they could do it the way I had it. This told me they would do the best job possible using their expertise and let me know what needed to be done instead of just being a "yes" man.

We had several online meetings where I shared the content and overall ideas I had for the site. From there, we went through the changes, design ideas, and the reasons behind them. They made adjustments and kept me informed every step of the way. As we are quite far apart, this was all accomplished over the phone, chat, and online drives. Even with that, they were able to build exactly what we needed.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Our primary contact was a website designer and SEO specialist. That is who took us from the very beginning through completion.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Site was almost immediately highly ranked in searches and has been getting increased hits since.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They were detail oriented and let us know the why and what they were doing but it wasn't too much. They communicated as necessary to confirm details and let us know where they were. As we are quite a distance apart, this was all accomplished over phone, chat, and online drives for documents.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They built a completely custom website and then walked me through how to post blog content going forward. Whenever I had a question, they were quick to answer and explain the why behind it. Many companies will ask you what you want and give you that even if it's not the best for your company. Nickel SEO will do what is best for your company if you give them the trust to do what they excel at, which is web design and SEO.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Had to switch a couple pictures but they were extremely quick to get that done. Honestly nothing that I can think of that they could improve on. They are quick, do quality work, and are very reasonably priced.
