Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the co-founder and director of Joe Park. We sell parking spaces during football matches, concerts, and events. People can rent a parking place with our company to go to the event arena.

At first, we had 30 people, but we don’t have them anymore because our law requires that anyone on the streets have a specific education. This is normally the police’s work, so now we only have a host that helps people to their parking places. When the event is over, the host assists with managing traffic. The number of hosts depends on the event. If it’s a full arena, we sometimes have 10–15 people on the streets, preventing traffic jams.

What challenge were you trying to address with Nevron?

We needed to create a website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Nevron created our website and provides maintenance and hosting services. Users can visit our website to see event venues and the different parking options we offer. They can choose a parking place for a car or a bus. 

I'm not tech-savvy, so Nevron does everything from putting the concerts on the website to keeping track of sales accounts and everything else that involves our website and its backend. We have VIPs that want to park in a special place, so the team has made our VIP tickets. Our VIPs receive an envelope at their homes with the card for the parking.

They also have an extensive network and have connected us with a leading live entertainment company. They've also come up with the idea of creating a contract with an industry-leading ticket sales platform, so when someone purchases a concert ticket, they can also purchase parking tickets through us. 

We’re now in the process of having meetings with restaurants and bars so that event-goers can also reserve their table and have dinner before the event, as they’re buying their concert and parking tickets all at once. We’re also exploring the idea of adding t-shirts with our live entertainment partner so that when customers come to us to park, we have t-shirts ready waiting for them to use for the concert.

Sometimes, I do work for the government, and I usually have to send out QR codes before a certain time. Nevron does everything to help me with this, sending me the codes at night so that the government has them in their hands by the next morning; I don’t have to do anything.

How did you come to work with Nevron?

Before working with Nevron, we didn’t have a website and were standing on the street, flagging down cars and asking people if they wanted to park. We found Nevron through a friend, and they had the idea to create a website so that people could know that we exist. It was very important for me to have a good gut feeling before doing business with a service provider. During our first meeting with them, it felt like we'd known each other for years, and I felt good about moving forward.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent at least €25,000 (approximately $27,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2019. Our partnership is ongoing, and we’re exploring new ideas with them.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Thanks to Nevron's support, we're now the most popular website. We've exploded thanks to their idea of partnering with the ticket sales platform. All the event venues and parking lots want to be featured on our website. I’m not only selling my parking places, but I’m also now selling parking places from the government, banks, and offices. After work, these parking places are empty, and the concerts are at night, so everybody makes money. 

We started with 300 parking places, now sell about 3,000, and are still growing. A professional football club now wants the same concept at their stadium, and the government wants to talk with us about working together for Queen’s Day when people visit Amsterdam. They want people to park outside the city and take public transportation to the center of Amsterdam. 

How did Nevron perform from a project management standpoint?

We've never gone over budget, and they work in parts. When something is completed, they show me to make sure it matches what was in my head. They know how to take my ideas and turn them into reality. Whenever a customer asks a question, I discuss it with Nevron to explore whether it's possible. They’ve always been right about their assessments.

We use phone calls and also meet with Tony face-to-face. I prefer to take my time and sit with them to explain what I’m imagining rather than sending emails. I want them to feel what I’m feeling so that they can adapt my ideas, and I can only do that in person. It’s better for me to have just one point of contact who knows and understands me. Tony knows I’m not tech-savvy, and I can trust him blindly. He also knows my likes and dislikes. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Nevron doesn't make mistakes, and rather than being detached businesspeople, they’re very social, which is important. I consider the relationship to be the foundation of doing business. We might have different opinions, but we ultimately understand each other and are happy with the results. They've been honest with me and told me when something I want isn’t viable or if it will take time to develop properly. Other companies have just sent me a bill. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s hard to say; I’m pleased with how the work is going.

The ability to translate social content directly into DOOH. Never happened before! 2.7 million people were reached in this 3-day campaign period, with only some of our displays in Rotterdam.
