I am the co-founder of the company and manage the technical aspects of the business.

For what projects/services did your company hire Nerdify, and what were your goals?

Nerdify develops the platform and manages its infrastructure to ensure it works well. We rely on them for technical know-how, timely delivery of features, bug management and emergency troubleshooting and repair.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We interviewed more than 55 candidates. Nerdify was professional, demonstrated skill and trustworthiness. They are located in a advantageous time zone.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Nerdify has built the platform from the ground up, selecting various frameworks, libraries and the appropriate infrastructure to ensure the platform runs smoothly and quickly. We use both react and Laravel for our platform and have integrated various third-party services as needed.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Nerdify's team manager and 8 skilled programmers have worked on our platform.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have doubled our userbase each year with the effectiveness and speed of the platform. Speed has been paramount and we have seen sub second response times. Despite our database growing drastically we have maintained speeds and features.

We work together daily via Slack, managing all parts of the development process. We use Github to pull and check in code, review and approve changes and deploy via Envoyer.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are extremely responsive and skilled. When there is an emergency they are immediately available and quickly resolve the issue. It's been a pleasure working with them and we look forward to a long-term relationship.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No. I don't have any suggestions for improvement.

1. Staff augmentation for the development of an apps built on CMS. This included UX design, custom CMS plugin code, data modeling, and UI development for multiple applications.
2. Devops pipeline and cloud hosting environment setup using AWS, Kubernetes, and an admin tool.

Some workspaces have an echo, which at times made the audio in meetings difficult to hear; although, not real bad.
