Josh and Mak International is a legal firm. I am a lawyer and the owner of the company. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Nenu Tech?

We have an international clientele and needed to develop a client management software that could help improve our productivity. We had been using a third-party platform but weren't happy with the costs. As a law firm, we need to protect client information so the software had to be uncrackable. We also wanted something that we could own.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Nenu Tech developed our CRM, helping us connect with clients. Many of them contact us directly through the website, so we needed functionalities like live chat. Our solution was developed as a web platform and an Android app. Nenu Tech also provided some SEO services for our website.

How did you come to work with Nenu Tech?

I found Nenu Tech through word-of-mouth. A friend had used them to develop an app and told me that Nenu Tech was a reasonable company. I spoke to them after trying 5 other software developers. I found that Nenu Tech was not only attentive, but they also had a marketing person who knew what they were talking about. Many of these companies use salespeople without a lot of technical knowledge.

How much have you invested with Nenu Tech?

The total cost of our project with Nenu Tech was around $38,000. [32,000 GBP] We have been able to pay in installments. The overall cost was low, compared to what we got.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Nenu Tech in December 2015. We've tested the platform and we are now working on the content. The platform is now available for internal use. We intend to launch it for clients within 4 to 6 months.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

I am very satisfied. We had been looking for a secure solution that would allow clients to communicate with us. Many of them prefer not to speak over email because of privacy issues. We haven't come across any breaches during the beta-testing period.

How did Nenu Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

The good thing about Nenu Tech was that the team delivered on time. We've had bad experiences with other software developers in the past, some of them even taking our money and disappearing. Nenu Tech only took a small upfront fee and continued listening to us and making changes throughout our engagement. They should be commended.

I didn't deal with the development team on my own, given that I'm not a technical person. We've worked with a designated contact from Nenu Tech, a very well-educated, ethical, and friendly person. Based on our layman's explanations, our contact sent out instructions to the development team. Our contact would then give us demos of the work and explain everything in clear terms. We relied on email for communication and didn't use any tracking software.

What did you find most impressive about Nenu Tech?

There are many scammers in the software market, so it's good to know that there are genuine people out there. Nenu Tech always got back to us after every email, which is what I most liked about them.

Are there any areas Nenu Tech could improve?

I haven't come across anything that Nenu Tech could improve. They've done good work for me so far. If anything, we caused delays by taking more time to give responses.

What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with Nenu Tech?

Clients should explain exactly what they want. In our case, the description was a bit too vague. As a result, it took us some time to make sure that everything was crossed-out in the end.
