Nearcode provided high-caliber resources that were part of the Owner, Guest, and Foundational work stream. The teams that were part of these work streams were focused on improving Owner and Guest experiences by building out self-serve capabilities and improving our core capabilities on our distribution platform, and helping pave the path to get out of legacy systems.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The owner mobile app was a big part of the deliverable on the owner side. There were a few different parameters that we used to measure success like Adoption rate, reduction in calls to our call centers for tasks/information that were provided within the App experience to name a few and ofcourse direct feedback from our customers.

The Nearcode account team was very responsive and always available to help and assist in any way they could. From a project management perspective, the initiatives were driven internally by Evolve, and we managed the resources and work allocation directly.

The engagement started with a technical review of our existing application to identify the biggest maintenance challenges and areas that would benefit most from modernization. Rather than recommending a complete rebuild, Nearcode suggested an incremental approach that allowed us to continue supporting customers while gradually improving the platform. Their engineers helped refactor several core modules, reorganized parts of the application's architecture, and introduced a more reliable deployment process that reduced manual work for our development team. They also worked with us to improve code quality through peer reviews, documentation, and better testing practices before new features were released. Throughout the project, they collaborated closely with our in-house developers instead of working separately, which made the transition much smoother and ensured knowledge was shared along the way.
