BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a small U.S.-based firm that focuses on providing job search and recruitment services to foreigners seeking work in Thailand, as well as for Thai companies looking to hire foreign employees. I am the owner and co-founder of the firm and am working with MonitoringLabs directly.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire MonitoringLabs?

Being a startup company, our firm has relatively few staff members (none of which have experience in IT) but requires cross-border/remote IT capabilities due to our business model. We needed a one-stop shop to reliably handle all of of our IT needs, so we selected their Fully Managed Services package.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted an outsourced IT partner to manage all of our daily IT needs including among others, anti-virus, software updates, patching, troubleshooting, cybersecurity, cloud storage, and data backup.

How did you select MonitoringLabs?

Based on our needs, MonitoringLabs suggested their Fully Managed Services package, which allows us to focus on strategic business objectives while they control all of our IT functions. In selecting them, we compared the cost against other firms and found theirs to be the most suitable.

We also considered what it would cost to hire a full-time IT specialist and quickly realized that outsourcing was much more affordable and valuable.

Describe the project in detail.

Once we selected MonitoringLabs, we had a service introduction meeting to ensure that they would address all of our requirements. Following that meeting, they installed all of the necessary equipment to monitor our devices remotely and connected us to their offsite data room. The whole process was very quick and efficient and there have been zero hiccups since initial implantation.

What was the team composition?

We initially met with a pre-sales executive and a sales executive from their team. After the initial meeting, we were assigned IT network and IT specialists who would be responsible for our account, and were ensured that backup would be on standby, should it be required.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Six months into this arrangement, we couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire MonitoringLabs to handle all of our IT needs. They have successfully protected us against several threats and have allowed us to focus on growing our business instead of struggling through downtime and unknown IT processes.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their team is extremely responsive to our tickets and actively works on identifying and preventing issues even before they occur—and that’s a workflow that saves us all time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their expertise in IT, the high value we receive from contracting with them, and their client-centric focus approach is also amazing.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nothing that has surfaced thus far.
