The biggest challenges were to update the libraries properly and comprehensively. Versions of some libraries were 4 years old and had to be approached gradually. The dependencies that existed between the various libraries did not make the situation any easier either, but a proper strategy and spotty updates allowed each library to be upgraded to the correct version, and thus the application was republished on the stores. 

The development team successfully tackled the challenge of updating outdated libraries with a carefully planned approach. They addressed each library update incrementally, ensuring a smooth transition without disrupting the application's stability. Additionally, they efficiently managed complex dependencies by identifying and resolving conflicts. 

With a focus on testing, gradual updates, and clear communication, the team overcame the hurdles and re-launched the application with updated libraries and a reliable chat solution, resulting in a more robust and user-friendly experience for its target audience. After re-launching the app Mobile Reality continue developing the system. They implement new features and platform web and mobile extensions.

The vendor was known to me from my social network, but the decision has been made based on the reviews and a few consulting sessions with them. Moreover, their proposal and the way of cooperation that they offered were the most suitable for us.

The discovery phase included a few sessions of remote product workshops, during which we described the whole backlog for the platform, phases of development, and all functionalities required to achieve our business goals. The concept was analyzed from a business and technology perspective. Mobile Reality created the first few UX/UI layouts for the app and its principal processes in the next phase.

Moreover, Mobile Reality developed a proof of concept in a few days to show us the solution that we wanted to check. Initially, their CEO Matt carried out the whole offer and consultations phase. Later, the Delivery Manager, UX/UI Designer, Frontend Team Lead, and Backend Team Lead consulted with us on the idea and delivered the expected outcomes. During the development phase, we cooperated with the team, including the Delivery Manager, Designers, Developers, and Manual Testers. Most of the issues and tasks were consulted with the Delivery Manager/Project Manager during our weekly meetings.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The product backlog was prepared as we expected. The whole technological and business concept was transformed into detailed and well-described user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria. All other business and tech aspects were outlined in separate documentation. Thanks to the developed PoC, we could verify some central aspects of the app. It also gave us awareness about some risks and further work that must be done. After the successful workshop phase, we received a well-prepared offer.

Within the proposal, each functionality was estimated with the time and cost. We were able to evaluate the cost of each module and its functionality. The offer was accepted, an agreement was signed, and development was started. The web application was delivered as we expected, features worked well, and we were able to start selling our SaaS solution to the Client.

Everything was on time, even better than we expected. Workshops sessions were completed on time. PoC took a bit more time than we expected, but in the end, the results were better than they should have been. The development phase was coordinated properly, Some mistakes or misunderstandings appeared, but this is normal, calculated into the cost and flow of each IT development project. In the end, everything was delivered as we expected. The delivery Manager responsible for the whole communication was great and very helpful.

Great tech and business approach. Support from the core management team. Close cooperation with the whole team and a well-defined process

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

So far, everything has been great. In terms of the product design phase and PoC, nothing can be done better, in my opinion. The development phase ended on time and in the expected budget. The results were great. Fully recommend this team and company.

Project Manager was first point of contact with the small support of product owner who helped clarify the vision of the website. Also, I was in contact with UX/UI designer and frontend developer but in a very small way. Most contacts were coordinated by the project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The results were astonishing. The website is beautiful. I am proud of it. Moreover, with the lead generation tools and Google Ads campaigns, we are increasing traffics each month. The sales results are bigger each month. Of course, the revenue is also correlated with the marketing budgets but our website is helping us a lot. Good SEO adjustment, well content presentation on the website, well-think user journey, and call-to-actions. This website, web app is a great tool that is allowing me to do generate revenue that I expect.

I was added to a dedicated Slack channel where the project manager was communicating with me all deadlines, milestones, plans, etc. Also typical email updates.

Strong business approach, well technical knowledge. I am not a technical person, but this team knows what they are doing.
