What was the scope of their involvement?

MOBIKASA has developed, deployed, and maintained an Android application. The app enables end users to complete tasks and earn rewards by scanning the required dot codes in the market. MOBIKASA has been responsible for all of the app’s features, including dot code scanning, dynamic points allocation, and offline capability.

We work with an architect, a project manager, 2 developers and a couple of QA folks

We started working together in November 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We track our success by looking at the app’s downtime, development turnaround time, and Jira ticket closure. We consider the project a success if the downtime is minimal and the app is stable and bug-free. These metrics have improved over the last year.

How did MOBIKASA perform from a project management standpoint?

MOBIKASA mostly delivers on time. We communicate via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and email or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

MOBIKASA is available to solve issues virtually at any time of the day. Impressively, the architect is just a phone call away.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The testing process could be beefed up.

What was the scope of their involvement?

MOBIKASA has developed our logo and branding and designed and developed our website, including integrations with Stripe, ShipStation, Zendesk, SignNow, and Avalara. The team has also provided SEO optimization and marketing services, including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and Instagram. The website has a backend partner signup portal and a frontend customer signup portal so we can manage two different partners. It also has inventory tracking for mailbox management and luggage storage.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with at least 10 teammates from MOBIKASA. Our direct contact and project manager/leader is Rohit, who been excellent to work with, I could not choose any better person for the project management. Rajat Oberoi has been our latest contact at Mobikasa and he is the VP of Growth and he has been a great source of strategy for starting us off on the right foot with getting BOXFO known to the world. Additional people in the background at Mobikasa include the early stage logo and branding team as well as the develpers we do not get to see but who are diligently working to develop and keep our website running.

How did you come to work with MOBIKASA?

We found MOBIKASA through a Google search for top-rated e-commerce web development companies. They were one of the few companies that offered a full suite of services to build our site. The services they offered were clearly written and easy to understand.

We started working with MOBIKASA in December 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project is professionally managed with a clearly understood schedule and itemized deliverables. MOBIKASA has completed our logo, web design, and website pages. The team has also posted marketing ads, and we’ve had customer signups shortly after launching the website. In less than two weeks, we’ve had five customer signups, which is very good considering the time since the launch has been so short.

How did MOBIKASA perform from a project management standpoint?

MOBIKASA’s project management is excellent. The project has been delayed because we’ve added features that weren’t planned initially, which isn’t the team’s fault. MOBIKASA has been able to make our additions and adjust the schedule with a new completion date, which they’ve met. We communicate via email, Google Meet, and Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

MOBIKASA has made us feel very comfortable throughout the entire process and has become like family. We look forward to our weekly meetings with Rohit and we are in constant contact with him and Rajat Oberoi. We also find our new customer service representative at Mobikasa, Utkarsh Shukla, extremely useful and very professional. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing MOBIKASA could improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend working with MOBIKASA. We plan to continue using them for the long-term foreseeable future.

Designed and built a revenue operations platform focused on pipeline and forecast management. Integrated into SalesForce.com and built a backend to handle large datasets for the use of predictive and trending analytics. Built all aspects of the platform including a self-serve signup flow, admin/user management, team and hierarchy management, custom configuration options for users, etc. Next phase is plugging in AI into the large datasets.

I'm the managing director of a new startup that offers meet-and-greet services for users who travel by train. Our goal is to provide a similar experience to the one users who prefer private facilities in airports have.

What challenge were you trying to address with MOBIKASA?

We needed support designing and developing our website in WordPress. Our main purpose was to improve our online presence and moving forward; we'll require MOBIKASA to provide PPC and SEO services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

MOBIKASA has designed our site using Figma and developed it using WordPress. The website's core functionality is fetching users' ticket IDs when they book a railway ticket. The site uses the Indian Railway Personnel Service's API to fetch booking information. The API sinks reservations into our website so users have the same features for that particular time interval of the railway ticket.

What is the team composition?

We work with around 6–8 teammates from MOBIKASA, including Chirag (IT Project Manager), Tushar (CEO), Prateek (Managing Partner), two team leads, and backend developers.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around $500,000 INR (approximately $6,000 USD) on the project.

How did you come to work with MOBIKASA?

We contacted MOBIKASA through a referral and also found them on Google.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with MOBIKASA in February 2023, and the project is ongoing. The team is assisting us with government-related approvals.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website hasn't been launched to the public yet, but I have good expectations about MOBIKASA's work. The team has exceeded my expectations regarding the site's design and development.  

How did MOBIKASA perform from a project management standpoint?

MOBIKASA communicates well with me. Since the team's offices are located in India, we have virtual and in-person meetings. I've had the opportunity to meet the team in their office 3–4 times. MOBIKASA's project management skills are excellent, and Chirag is certified in Scrum methodology, highlighted in their work. We collaborate via Trello and Google Docs and communicate via phone calls and emails.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to highlight Chirag's work. He's the main face of the project and understands our goals. Chirag ensures work is implemented at the right time and place and is very supportive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

MOBIKASA's main strengths are their design and development skills and their understanding of client requirements. The team meets the project's goals and budget in the proper manner.

Are there any areas they could improve?

MOBIKASA can improve by adding AI development skills to their services. I've seen AI emerging recently, and these skills would benefit my business.

MOBIKASA provided us with custom e-commerce development. We gave the team our requirements and some references, and they built a Shopify website from scratch for us. On the site, users can request a sample of our ingredients to make an inquiry for a bulk order. MOBIKASA built a customized sing-in feature for our customers and a dedicated section for customers to find the ingredients they want.

We had already worked with MOBIKASA on another one of our projects, so we went straight to them without looking at any other providers. We felt comfortable with MOBIKASA, especially since Mohd already knew our company and how we worked.

MOBIKASA was excellent. We appreciated the quality of their work and process — they were amazing. Moreover, they had highly qualified developers and a great testing team. Our project manager helped us make changes to our project and provided improvement ideas.

We had a set schedule with overall updates every Tuesday. Between these sessions, we communicated via WhatsApp and had a daily call to check the project’s status and make modifications as needed. MOBIKASA executed our requests immediately.
