I worked for Nokia as a Global head of online, being responsible for the performance and reach of the Nokia website and other digital channels.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mito Performance, and what were your goals?

We've seen a falling organic visit number on our website and a clear issue with creating the content for the website. We clearly needed to take a step towards more organized and better content from an SEO perspective. We wanted to figure out a new structure for the website both in content and architecture. We hired Mito to help us optimize our website and define a new strategy for content creation and structure.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They did a pretty awesome pre-sales activity, showed us what they see about nokia.com, and came to us with some solution ideas. Their pitch was definitely the best. Our main deciding factors were: Speed, agility, price, and level of seniority of the people in the project. Mito showed excellence in all factors.

Our project started with a big review and research of the existing website. We went into the deepest details of our website, content creation processes, metatags, website architecture, competitor analysis, details analysis of google tag manager, advertising, and promotion tactics. After a 3-month research and analysis phase, Mito came up with an implementation strategy and an educational program for content creation.

The educational part included the whole marketing organization with several workshops and training on how to write well for the web. Another part of the project included a technical SEO redesign of the website that take another 4 months after the research phase and resulted in significant growth.

They assigned a project manager for the project who coordinated the team well. He coordinated among the 2-3 SEO specialists, depending on the task type.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since implementing the SEO efforts, we are ranking on the 1st page for several keywords, Our site traffic is steadily growing too. Several colleagues said they see significant growth on campaign landing pages, and also the costs of paid advertisements are lower on the Google network, because of better targeting of our pages.

They've been great at managing expectations and timelines. Communicated clearly and they were transparent in case of issues or if they were missing any information. If there were a delay they always communcated in time, and also clearly communicated what caused that.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their level of professionalism and overall knowledge within the industry stands out. They put in a lot of due diligence and research before getting started and it's ensured that the work we will be doing would be smooth and clear. They were self-reflective and agile in every step of the project, which I really appreciated.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'd be happy with some more scalable resources, but this is more an industry-level issue.

Scope:

• wigo carsharing, previously known as Share Now in Hungary, recently rebranded to carve out a unique identity in the competitive Hungarian carsharing market.
• As wigo carsharing’s digital agency, Mito Performance primary responsibility was to launch a dynamic ad campaign that could support the new brand and migrate existing users.

Deliverables:

• The development and implementation of a new strategy for the upcoming rebranding campaign.
• Build brand awareness for wigo and position it as a leading carsharing brand.
• Ensure that the number of daily drives meets or exceeds the utilization of the Share Now service during the same period YoY.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Leveraging the dynamic ad solution described above, we successfully planned and launched wigo carsharing birthday promotion in under five working days. This approach reduced creative production costs to about one-tenth of what a manual setup would have required.

During our three-day weekend promotion, the average daily drives increased by 57% compared to previous daily drives. Thanks to these efforts, we also managed to boost the migration metric by 59%. This metric tracks individuals who previously downloaded the Share Now app but had not yet registered with the wigo app, reflecting our success in converting these valuable users.

This strategic effort significantly improved wigo carsharing’s performance, highlighting the effectiveness of our dynamic ad campaign in achieving key business objectives.

This allowed us to pinpoint relevant search terms used by potential customers and identify both gaps and opportunities.

●        Based on these insights, we developed a content strategy aimed at improving keyword rankings.

●      Copywriting for 98 data-driven, optimized category page descriptions, tailored to meet our business objectives.

We successfully improved the average position of our selected focus keywords by 4.2 points and saw an increase in online sales, including a noticeable rise in organic sales. Additionally, we enhanced the rankings for specific branded terms associated with the fashion brands we distribute in Hungary.

I really liked their professional Google Sheets, which made it really easy for us to plan or track tasks and the budget. They also always presented their work (e.g., an audit or keyword research) in a very professional and client-friendly way. Their sheets and dashboards are easy to use, precise, and informative. All of their work reflected their expertise and professionalism.

I really enjoyed our cooperation with Mito, all of the colleagues I met are really dedicated to their work and also very kind and helpful. They excel not only in performing their tasks to a high standard but also in organizing their work, including time management and documentation, as well as in their client relations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Mito Performance could have done differently?

I can’t think of anything that should be improved. We were completely satisfied with the cooperation and also the results which we achieved with the help of Mito Performance.
