MIS helped us move our entire data center to the cloud and now manages it for us. MIS also provides a VDI like environment for staff.

Successful cutover of on-premise services to MIS cloud services, including email migration to O365 and application and infrastructure VMs to the cloud.

Project management was great. They were very responsive and always timely.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to decipher our "lingo" and make it work in the cloud without too many headaches. I was due to update our services and MIS made the most sense to management at the time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something MIS Solutions, Inc could have done differently?

MIS could have worked on the costs and the after action items. We still have some local servers that need to be terminated, mainly DCs and such. Nothing crazy but still hanging out there. Costs have also increased but they have increased world-wide.

MIS Solutions was hired as our all-in-one Managed Service Provider to help us with back-end infrastructure hosting, applicatoin updates, and Citrix hosting and end-point management (patching and security).

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The move to MIS Solutions was also timed with our office move, so we had to move to the new office over a weekend and MIS delivered on that.

Project management was good and we had a dedicated Project Manager assigned who kept us on-point and within budget.

At the time when we signed up MIS SOlutions as an MSP we were their largest CPA firm client. It was a rocky start, but MIS Solutions, Inc was willing to learn about our business and adjusted accordingly.

We now have a solid cadence established and the lines of communicatoin are always open (both ways), so I thikn we are in a good place.

We’ve been working MIS Solutions, Inc for a long time; we hired them for IT support services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They don’t work on one project for us; they support us with various IT services. They act as our IT support and have converted our server from the cloud and set up our database. MIS Solutions, Inc also helps us with our database when people leave the company and when we have new hires. 

What is the team composition?

We work with an account manager and a dedicated team of five people. However, the team size changes based on the project we’re working on. 

How did you come to work with MIS Solutions, Inc?

They were a referral.

We’ve spent around $500,000 across the course of our engagement.

We started working together in 2005, and the engagement is ongoing.

MIS Solutions, Inc is on top of everything for us, and we have confidence that our company is in good hands with their support.

They always deliver on time, within budget, and consistently provide what they promise.

What did you find most impressive about them?

MIS Solutions, Inc isn't just a vendor, they’re a partner. They do anything we need, and we can call them anytime. Without their support, we wouldn’t be where we are technologically. They have an excellent company culture, and if there is an issue, they handle it. We always have complete faith in them, and even though they have grown, their service has never decreased. We never want this partnership to end.

There’s nothing we can come up with.

What challenge were you trying to address with MIS Solutions, Inc.?

We needed someone to manage our technology infrastructure, so we hired MIS.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

MIS manages all of our technology infrastructure, providing both on-site and remote services. Their scope has included purchasing and installing all of our company’s hardware and software, as well as certifying us for data security compliance.

Moreover, MIS manages all of our IT resources and handles our cybersecurity. Their cybersecurity services include performing penetration testing and protecting our database.

What is the team composition?

MIS has a team dedicated to serving our company, although I don’t know how many teammates that team includes. Eric (Enterprise Client Account Manager) is my main point of contact.

How did you come to work with MIS Solutions, Inc.?

We’ve been a client of MIS for many years, so I don’t remember much about the discovery phase. Still, I found them because they’re also in Atlanta. Moreover, they had good reviews on the sources I looked at, so that was the reason why I contacted them. When I met with their owners, I felt good about engaging them, so I hired them.

How much have you invested with them?

We pay them over $40,000 per year.

What is the status of this engagement?

I’ve been doing business with MIS since 2010.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

MIS’ work is very successful because we haven’t experienced any downtime, and our network speed has increased. Additionally, their cybersecurity work is excellent; we haven’t experienced attacks.

MIS’ project management is very good; they’re communicative, meet their deadlines, and stay on budget. Moreover, their team approach works very well. We communicate via phone calls and emails.

MIS is proactive in helping me ensure that I have everything I need to operate my business. They understand my business and my needs and manage our IT infrastructure accordingly. Moreover, their team is very responsive and knowledgeable.
