Miolo was hired to create a website for advertising my financial planning practice. Additionally, they used my branding messages to create visuals such as logo, monogram, and color palette.

Miolo provided regular weekly check-ins for items they were working on, or information they needed from me. I was provided with an estimated timeline at the beginning of our engagement.

Everything was delivered on time or early. They were quick to respond to my questions or to clarify things that I needed to know. When I was asked a question that I didn't know the answer to, often another team member would join in the conversation to clarify or volunteer to help me find the answer.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were extremely kind and patient. I had no prior experience with web design or branding design, and they made sure that I felt respected and heard, even if they had to explain things to me. I felt there was a mutual respect for my line of work compared to theirs. They never talked down to me just because I didn't know the technical aspects of web design. They would often take an educational approach so that I understood certain needs and their value to the project's success.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Miolo could have done differently?

None that I can think of.

Several one on one meetings to brainstorm on how to bring to fruition a new and beautifully designed website. One easy to navigate and extremly fuctional for both myseld and the custumer. Everything was created in a timely manner. They were always prompt in making sure all my questions were answered and included their creative insights and input into a stunning final result.

I was extremely happy to have a very user friendly website. As an artist, having a website in order to sell products is key to my overall sucess and income.

Word of Web has a great eye for simplicity and knowledge of UX. They also heard what I needed and presented a plan to check off all the boxes.

After the consultation meeting we went through a series of meetings where they presented their ideas on branding, copy, and then website design. I had the ability to adjust as needed with no limitation on revisions.

Word of Web assigned a point person for the project that I communicated directly with. I believe they had three or four specialists behind the scenes assisting with the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Timely completion of brand, website copy, and website design. I have since had many prospects reach out to me through my website purely through SEO created by Word of Web.

Word of Web was prompt in all communication and status of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They did not impose their ideas on us; they listened to our needs and executed them. They also took the time at the end of the engagement to teach me how to manage my website in the future if needed.

At this time I cannot think of any.

I run a company that conducts Phase III Clinical trials for cardiovascular pharmaceutical and device products.

For what projects/services did your company hire Word of Web?

We hired Word of Web to build us a marketing website that appeals to our diverse set of audiences: potential trial participants, referring physicians, and large pharmaceutical companies running a clinical trial. Word of Web helped us with brand strategy, logo design, UX/UI, content writing, and development.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had been searching for a web design partner for months, and when someone referred us to Word of Web, we knew we had found the right fit. They seemed genuinely interested in the success of our business and had all of the skillsets we were looking for. What ultimately sold us on Word of Web was the close, personal attention we felt they would give us.

We started with a few meetings to discuss our goals. Then, Word of Web delivered a website 'blueprint' that included visual guidelines, messaging guidelines, and a potential site layout. Once we finalized this blueprint, Word of Web wrote all our copy, and then designed and built the website. At the end of the project, they taught us how to make edits to our site and made sure we had all the tools we needed to manage it over time.

We worked with four people in total:

The Creative Director was our main go-to, but all four people were involved from start to finish.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We continue to hear positive feedback about our website! Our team is thrilled with the final product. Having a website has given our company an extra stamp of legitimacy. Plus, the website has made it easier for potential trial participants and partners to get in touch with us.

The team was easy to communicate with. The Project Manager provided us with frequent updates. We communicated primarily through video call, and had a great working relationship. Everything was delivered on time!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed by their knowledge about web design and UX/UI. We appreciated that they took the time to really get to know us and our business, and that they patiently explained difficult technical concepts to us. The project was a particularly collaborative and positive experience. It was great to work with a partner we knew we could trust.

Nothing comes to mind. We had a great experience.

When I say they moved fast, I mean it. Sometimes I needed to ask for more time for my part of the work. But they were gracious and understanding of my need to go deep in my reviews and honored my requests.
