We wanted to develop an application that would attract more customers and make it more convenient to choose books.

We searched on the internet and asked for offers from our partners. We looked at the completed applications, talked to potential partners, and asked for suggestions and offers.

We explained our goals to the developers in a meeting and planned the development steps based on them. The application can be used on Apple, android and Huawei devices.

During the development period, we held online discussion every Friday with all concerned colleagues. In this way, we were able to discuss the questions and problems that arise during the development and the deadline for their solution.

The first and second phases are ready of this development, we expect real growth from the third phase.

In the first phase of the project development a few face-to-face meetings were necessary, but later online discussions were sufficient. These lasted 15-30 minutes, depending on the actual tasks. We used Zoom, email, testfight, jira

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were extremely patient with us, we all learned a lot during development. They wanted to understand our points of view and were willing to think with us about the most appropriate solution.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I haven't find that.

Although our mobile app was receiving great feedback, after 5 years of operation we thought that now is the time to make a major update on the user interface to match user expectations.

We knew Mindtech Apps from a previous project.

We had a couple of new ideas regarding the user experience but gave plenty of room for the vendor. As the design team found the previous user flows satisfactory for the redesign, they started to design the new components and screens. During the redesign, we had some change requests, and they were very collaborative. Contrary to the original request, which would have been satisfied by redesigning some screens, they provided us with a functional prototype to support our developers.

The UX/UI team consists of a UX designer, two UI designers and a project manager. Demo meetings took place every week with the participation of the project manager and the lead designer.

The workflow was amazingly smooth.

We needed to find qualified frontend / full stack developers to help us build out our existing platform. The goal was to have. flexible team that could help us release new features.

We were introduced via a mutual contact who we trust and worked at Mindtech before.

They provided 2 mid-level developers to augment our in-house development team. They worked embedded within our team and worked alongside our existing team on new and existing features, using React & node.js.

Mindtech put forward 2 engineers, who we interviewed to understand their core skills/ strengths. We decided to do a 3 day trial with both of them, and ended up working with both of them long term.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Thanks to Mindtech's engineers, we were able to plow through our list of bugs & accelerate the product development of new features. We were also able to become more reactive towards customer demands for new features.

We communicated using our own tool. Both are very responsive and gelling well with the team

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Mindtech was really fast in catering to our needs -- they were able to provide engineers with little lead time. Both were greatly tailored to our needs.

I am the Co-Founder and CEO of a fintech startup established in 2018 in Budapest. We are currently working on a smart-factoring solution that enables companies to sell their receivables online within a single day.

The work on the online factoring system started in mid-2018 with a dedicated team. From the very outset of the project, we knew that we would need an experienced front-end agency. Hence, we requested an offer from Mindtech Apps in 2019 January for web application development.

What were your goals for this project?

We want to create a unique digital solution that makes factoring services accessible for both SMB’s and corporates. In order to achieve this goal, we need to deliver and test a minimal valuable product before Q3 2019.

How did you select this vendor?

We had 2-3 other developer agencies under consideration. Mindtech Apps was stuck out a mile. When I became aware of the fact that our CTO has had multiple positive experiences with Mindtech Apps’ team, I made my choice.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

First, we were planning the business strategy and defining the functions essential for first user testing. Then we applied with our plans to a major Hungarian bank's Fintechlab program. That bank had a strong focus on innovation and emerging technologies in financial services. The wide variety of opportunities provided by the program helped us to refine our value proposition design.

We hired Mindtech Apps for front-end development of the project, which is broken down into weekly sprints. Our team designs the user journey map and wireframes, and the build starts the week following the approval of the documentation.

What was the team composition?

The team consists, in essence, a backend developer, a full-stack software engineer, and two front-end developers. They are lead by the CTO, who delegates the tasks, supports and supervises the development.

We decided that the core team should work together as close as possible, hence we were in touch every day during the project. With the rest of the vendor, we were connected through an account manager, who helped us in any way possible.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We don't have any results yet, as the project just closed the development phase, but Mindtech App's sense of initiative unquestionably helped us in the first couple of sprints. We are looking forward to the upcoming test with high expectations.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The front-end developer from Mindtech worked with us, thus the development is very smooth and rapid. The remote team is always available for us, as well.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Mindtech Apps deliver on time, which is the most crucial aspect for us. Furthermore, they work transparently without any hidden expenses.

Hemonapló is a startup company, that aims of improving the lives of people suffering from hemophilia, a rare genetic disorder affecting the body’s ability to make clots. I am the Founder and CEO of the firm, responsible for project management and choosing vendors.

We have found that most of the patients struggle to administrate the treatment and medicine they take. Our company wishes to provide them a cutting-edge app for managing the clotting factors, tracking, and predicting the effectiveness of the treatment.

What were your goals for this project?

For the first stage of the project, we wanted to introduce our investors a fully developed patient-side application. This was vital to convince them to back the second phase with a physician-side application and pharmacokinetic analysis. The long-term goal for Hemonapló is hard to measure: an increase in the quality of life for people suffering from hemophilia.

How did you select this vendor?

We were looking for a developer team who has experience with mobile app development for startups. Our team searched online and asked their acquaintances for reliable app development agencies. We selected Mindtech because they already succeed with an E-healthcare related application.

We created a detailed specification, then hired a designer and backend team to plan and prepare the application. After we had a wireframe and a final design, we involved Mindtech Apps for discussing the elaboration. Following the first week of meetings, the backend and app development teams alongside the designer started the work simultaneously. The team had three months for delivering the client-side app, including functions such as user-authentication, calendar, notification, medication storage, and offline data access.

We worked with: a freelancer designer, two backend developers from another vendor along with two app developers from Mindtech Apps.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Beta tests started right after the MVP was presented to the investors. First feedbacks exceeded expectations: thanks to the successful delivery and the satisfaction of the investors, Hemonapló will proceed with the next phase of development.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The mobile and backend partners worked together seamlessly. Meeting the deadline was the biggest concern for us at the start of the project. Thus we were more than pleased with the result. The product was not only delivered on time but also implemented high quality.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed by their communication abilities and the level of knowledge in the field of mobile development. They are enthusiastic developers with an astonishingly pro-active attitude.

I am entirely satisfied with the work of Mindtech Apps.

Our University needs to provide data for the ministry related to certain metrics. We have created a quick-fix platform with internal resources to collect data within the organization. It was good short-term, but we hired Mindtech Apps to develop a long-term, expandable code base for our needs.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss our goals and objectives. Our Designer delivered wireframes and prototypes based on the previous in-house developed platform. While designing, the back-end teams started to work in parallel. We were in 2-week sprint cycles and constant communication with the dev team. In the last few weeks, we have started testing and bug fixing.

We are still in the introduction of the new platform, but the overall feedback was that they love the new designs and the platform is easier to use.

They were strongly-skilled professionals who were goal-oriented and had a problem-solving attitude.

More communication about their internal process to see how they are planning each sprint.

We work in a very specific area and on the constantly changing market our network had become outdated. To be able to achieve our business goals we're looked for a professional external team to stabilize and developed our network to a higher level. By doing this we were hoping to increase our revenues and our network.

We worked with 5-6 people from MindTech Apps. A Lead Developer was the main key contact of the project. The fix team contained 2 senior, 2 medior full stack developers and a quality assurance. They were capable of bringing extra developers if needed.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We used them for several projects (cam whitelabel, in-house admin systems, pay site, ad monetizing, affiliate program etc..). We were satisfied with their work and our relationship. Originally, another colleague referred them to me.

We had daily stand-ups with ours project managers. We used Slack for communication, GitHub and Atlassian products for project management. If we had any questions or feedbacks regarding the team ot their job we were able to negotiate very soon with their management and the lead developer.

The team was very flexible and open-minded about the new technologies. We had many challenging project under this period but the common work was smoothy with the team.
