BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the director of Tri Alliance. Tri Alliance is the largest triathlon training squad in Australia, offering triathlon coaching, group training and triathlon training programs for all levels and abilities. We are a network of coaches, partners, resources and experts in the industry, working together to provide athletes with the education, coaching, training, knowledge and a whole triathlon community to become involved in.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Mindblaze Technologies, and what were your goals?

Our most ambitious project is the development of systems to create, manage and deliver training instruction to our team of athletes via a cloud base system. This system has cutdown the time and effort to develop and service our client base of athletes allowing us to take on a greater productivity level. This project is ongoing with Mindblaze being the lead team working along side Melbourne University students and interns.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have been working with Mindblaze for over a decade, back then when we placed our projects out for tender Mindblaze were clearly the leader taking our project seriously and adding suggestions from the onset. We haven't looked back since partnering with them.

The current project has been in the works for the past 5 years. The stack we are using is, React, Java, Mongal DB

We have anywhere between, 1-3 working with us on a weekly basis, Head developer, Head designer, Assistant developer,

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As suggested above our workflow and productivity has increased 10 fold, we have gained a commercial asset that is delivered over multiple platforms.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Because we began over a decade ago, we use Skype as our main tool to discuss projects either via chat, voice or visual. We have discussed other forms of communication with the use of slack for student teams .

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Time has bonded us a team. Even though we are situated in different countries we have developed an amazing working ethic and understanding. Mindblaze will always remain as part of our team into the future.
