What I found most impressive and unique about this company was their exceptional commitment to customer service and attention to detail. Despite encountering some delays in delivering the final product, the company maintained open and clear communication throughout the process. 

Their willingness to ensure the highest quality, even if it meant taking additional time, demonstrated a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.  This approach, prioritizing quality and client communication, set them apart in their industry and made them a highly commendable and trustworthy partner.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Milenium5 could have done differently?

In the photo shoot, there was a slight deviation from what our company had expected. I feel that it's necessary for clients and photographers to thoroughly confirm the desired image in detail together in the future.

I represent Prelaunch.com - a product market validation platform that helps creators understand whether their products will make success in the market or not at early stages. And I am Arthur - the Executive Assistant and Project Manager at Prelaunch.

For what projects/services did your company hire Milenium5, and what were your goals?

We hired Milenium5 to create an animations that we were going to showcase on a large LED screen at IFA 2022 in Berlin (the biggest consumer electronics show in Europe) and a descriptive animating video about our platform. With LED we wanted to catch the attention of the visitors, so it was planned to be a cool short and booming one. The descriptive video was to show on TV on the wall, rather a long one that showed elements and told what each of them was doing and what were their connections.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Milenium5 is a trustworthy partner for us; we have delegated a lot of projects, and some of them were really hard ones, with a lot of challenges. All of the projects have been done within the deadline, with creative and modern solutions, and I must say that with their help we got great results! This time again we gave the chance to them, and what we got is much more than the initially expected one.

After deciding the need of visuals at the trade show, we arranged a meeting to discuss and understand the overall picture, the scope, needed elements, their goals and potential risks, as well as advantages. We provided them with the script written by our copywriter, and a week had been given to them for internal brainstormings and discussions. After that they came up with a draft storyboard explaining the meaning of each motion, each character, passes and phrases. After that we started to discuss and make some minor changes, because overall we liked their ideas. Their account manager provided us with the milestones, and the main working process started that time; we were catching up twice a week to understand in which stage they were and how the process goes overall. 3 days before the show we had the finalized files.

Our main work was with their account (project) manager Arpine, producer Ruben and with the director Hovhannes. Being a company with string and fixed values, we have a feedback culture, and it's crucial for us to provide feedback if needed. None of the ideas that seemed a bit controversial for us have been left without a feedback and what we liked the most is that their working team accepted them and provided solutions based on them.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We showed off the videos during the trade show and almost every visitor was standing and looking what was happening on our LED wall, they were even taking pictures with the main robot hero in the animation. The results brought success to our campaign, it provided with great visibility, it was memorable, it was unique and different in a good way.

The project manager Arpine is a very calm and well organized girl. She was available anytime; our main communication was being held via Telegram and Slack, but other means such as phone or google meets were available for us whenever we needed. We kept the timelines and updated them via ClickUp. No information has ever been missed. The storyboard has been provided via Figma and we put comments on them easily, after which a meeting followed to discuss them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Tact, champion mindset, developed and feedback open company. That's what I will say to everyone about them. We have never felt like they were not our team members, they have never let us feel even a moment that they are an outsourced company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Sure, everybody needs improvement anytime. As I mentioned previously, we provided feedback to them, and we would like to see their working teammates such as animators, 3D designers and other people in our meetings to delegate our needs directly. Probably that's the only thing I would mention now.

We really appreciated the fact that Milenium5 went above and beyond to deliver what we needed despite having a minimal budget. In a nutshell, they did way more than what we originally planned.

We’re still in the pre-launch stage, so we don’t have any results to share. However, the designs Milenium5 has created have helped with our pre-launch process. They’ve made our product more visible and accessible to potential customers.

We initially met via Zoom to kick off the project, and it took three months from our initial call to reach the final design plan. We set clear expectations at the beginning of the partnership, and Milenium5 has given us everything we asked for. They’ve delivered good-quality work quickly, and we’ve been pleased with the collaboration. The team has communicated effectively via email and phone, and we’ve met regularly via Zoom and Google Meet.

The project included a full cycle video production of the lessons, full animated branding including 3D logo animation, custom lower thirds, and transitions. For social media short branded ads were created to promote the platform. The goal was to establish the online learning platform and promote it on Social Media.

We saw their rich and impressive portfolio online and reached out to collaborate on this project. We had a great call with their team and after hearing their thoughts, we were sure to cooperate.

We had an inception call where their account manager explained all the next steps, they provided Gantt chart with the timeline. The video production steps included pre-production, production and post-production. We had lots of feedback opportunities which was great as we could align our visions along the way. Our communication channels were all the professional tools out there including Slack workspace, email and cloud sharing platforms.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The e-learning platform is successfully live and operating and already has many subscribers. The audience is loving the content and the videos! Our ads on Social Media are also working really well, lots of traffic comes from there.

They listened to all our feedback and were very accommodating. They engaged me throughout every process, explained everything about video production steps so I could follow the steps easily.

We worked with Milenium5 on all of our video production needs, for our weekly YouTube series, TikTok and Instagram shorts, and everything else. We needed high-quality production, organized filming schedules and strong editing to get our message across in each video.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We tried a number of different production formats, including doing it in-house. Milenium5 rapidly proved their worth. Their producers are really well organized, they have all the contacts in the local industry, understand cinematography, and employ some great editors, that quickly upped our production quality.

We start with a discovery meeting. We discuss the incoming products, and how best to film them. Then we go off and research the industry and use the products themselves, keeping Milenium5 in the loop for any additional production requests we have. Milenium5 offers us multiple shooting schedules to choose from, and prepares all the required gear and team in the meantime.

When we meet back up again on the day of the shoot, they guide us through the production, giving us useful insights and feedback to improve the quality of our presentations. They guide us through b-roll, making sure we're seen using the products well. And finally film separate product shots themselves. Then they put together a draft edit, share it with us, and actively accept feedback. Within a few days, we have the final video!

We worked with Arpine and Ruben. They're really good at accepting and implementing feedback, and coordinating between our and their team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Initially we found collaboration a little tough, as our vision was different from what we were receiving. But very quickly, they were able to build on our feedback (and we were able to build on theirs) and achieve a much higher quality product than even what we had initially envisioned.

The team is very active on Slack, answering messages nearly instantly. They're also available on Google Meet or Skype. We sync our calendars together for the shooting schedule. And they send us everything via email and online video collaboration tools. All in all, everything is fast and well-managed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Arpine, 100%! That lil' girl is on FIRE! It still blows our mind how much she can juggle at once, and still deliver beyond our expectations. The team they employ is also great at capturing a beautiful image, using expensive camera and lighting gear to achieve the best possible image.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

If we had a bigger budget, I'd love it if their dedicated team was a little bigger and could guide us more closely with our activities. Direct us, give us some more feedback, and help us build a better product together. Then again, for the price, they already do way more than should be expected :)

But they also added extra parts and ensured the style fit seamlessly.

We are about to launch our Kickstarter project in the near future so we'll see! Thus far it's received much better feedback compared to other media we have.
