I'm the owner of the IT company building this EduTech app called Ted. Its an app that simplifies university applications for prospective students

MettleSol was hired to develop a front end and back end for my EduTech Platform called Ted. Ted is an app that simplifies university applications for prospective students. The goal is to design a platform in which students can apply to as many institutions as they wish with one application.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

A job post was put out online, to which many proposals were submitted. MettleSol's proposal made my shortlist after which I conducted interviews with prospective developers. MettleSol was preferred and hired.

We had a meeting to discuss my goals, in which key deliverables and technologies required where relayed to Syed. Technologies requested: React NodeJS Serverless AWS Front end and backend development payment integration, document upload, database

I was only in contact with one member of the team, Syed. All information was fed to his team through him.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

So far the page designs has been completed. Backend API's are in progress. Project is still ongoing and thus feedback on this is limited.

Weekly updates are provided by MettleSol. We communicate via zoom, email or upwork.

I am extremely happy with their response time. They are available even after work hours.

Project is still ongoing and thus feedback on this is limited.

Mettlesol was very unprofessional. unskilled and only Story maker company with no team. They have no idea how to handle and deleverd the project. They always try to contact on personal phone for request and payments. One year not complete even 30% my project. worst in work. they have no team, they only get project from pwork and other plateforms. and than try free lance developer to complete it in low cost. they waste my one year time and money. i am going to sue them on court.

zero team. zero skills , zero ethics. fraud company Mettlesol

Mettlesol should stop fraud with Customers. as they have no team. they hire project from online platforms and then start searching free lancers to complete that in low cost.

Application was meticulously planned and executed by MettleSol team, with daily stand-up calls and weekly end of week meetings. MERN stack was used for the entirety of the project.

Project was completed in time and efficiently

Agile approach, with short sprints and for communication the team used Jira for updates, communication was usually over emails and telephone calls, and google meet.

Very prompt and receptive. They were always finding solutions to our problems.

May be extend their working hours, so I could use their skills 24x7.

We were not having enough capacity, we outsourced some work to Mettlesol.

We already worked with them on a smaller project, we know their services and that's why we choose to work with them again.

This project was aimed to grab the emails from mailing list, scrape some data out of it and then perform action on that data.

They had one team lead and 4 engineers to work on our project.

We successfully launched the project and its in production now

Communication was easy, we had multiple sprints and requirements were clear.

They were very responsive and finished the job on time.

Sometimes they misunderstood the problem statement, but I think that is part of development process, maybe they can improve documentation.
