Our Story
Merakite was founded in 2017 by identical twin sisters Caitie and Maggie Sfingi. Raised in an entrepreneurial family, both sisters worked freelance jobs while still in college. Caitie studied design, psychology, and media ethics at Stanford while Maggie specialized in applied analytics and consumer behavior at the University of Southern California. The agency now focuses on working with nontechnical teams on websites, apps, and AI tools—with a soft spot for female founders or women-led startups.
