I am the owner of Ricky D’s Rib Shack.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mayarie?

Our website needed to be redesigned and updated.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided them with photos and an outline of what we wanted it to look like, and they took our previous website and redesigned it. 

They worked on the development, design, and layout based on the ideas we talked about. They used WordPress, and are providing maintenance and hosting. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with one individual who was our main point of contact. 

How did you come to work with Mayarie?

They’re a local small business and customers of our restaurant. 

How much have you invested with them?

We invested around $2,000 with Mayarie. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them between July–September 2018. 

They most recently updated the website in July 2022. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

When we speak to customers about catering or when they contact the restaurant, they mention how much they like the website. We’ve had many people tell us they chose our restaurant because they looked on the website and liked what they saw. 

How did Mayarie perform from a project management standpoint?

They met all of the targets we set. They delivered everything on time and within budget.  

We communicated through phone calls and emails, and we met in person. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They had a lot of information when it came to website management and marketing. They also had a high level of communication. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We believe that they could have increased their knowledge base in marketing with apps. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure you have enough capital to continuously invest in website development. Websites are not a one-time investment. They constantly need to be updated, and that is something to be prepared for.
