BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Content Manager, Editor, Video Editor and partner of HotSauceSports.ca. Hot Sauce Sports is a Media company where we host multiple shows per week, covering sports form around the world with a focus on the city of Montreal. We host and interview athletes and journalists on a weekly basis. Our blog site is where we share daily insights in sports and current events.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mavesta Media, and what were your goals?

Mavesta was brought on to help us grow and extend our reach in the Greater Montreal Region and to give us exposure on Social Media. 

Our goals were simple: grow viewership and gain followers. 

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The guys at Mavesta were exactly what we were looking for. They have extensive knowledge of sports and were very active on socials themselves. We wanted someone that represents us so it was an easy process for Mavesta to share our message.

First, we met to discuss our goals and objectives. 

• Increase viewers and downloads of podcasts
• Gain followers on all Social Media platforms
• Stay consistent and current with the news cycle. 

Second, we established a timeline

• We wanted to hit certain number before the end of the calendar year. 
• Increase posts during the NHL and NFL season, tapering down in the sumer

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Just one person, Alex. Alex was in charge of posting all of our media online. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We increased our followers to over 1000 on each platform. Hot Sauce Sports now has a mini cult foloowing where our viewers and fans have begun to share our posts.

Very easy to work with Alex. He was reasonable and understanding. He also understood our message and where we wanted to grow. 

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to stay on schedule and deliver measurables in a timely fashion was impressive.
