Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

MapleTronics provides Managed Services for Oaklawn. This includes Help Desk and advanced technical support, scheduled daily on-site service as well as additional on-site as needed, fiber and WAN connectivity, server hosting, backup & recovery services, and other related services. 
In addition, MapleTronics provides project services when needed for a wide variety of Information Technology infrastructure and hardware needs. In addition to technical services, MapleTronics provides a dedicated client relations manager as a form of vCIO to work with me on business decisions, such as budget and strategic planning.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

MapleTronics consistently provides high quality, timely services for Oaklawn. We have developed a trusted and strategic partnership with MapleTronics that benefits both organizations. Their project planning and delivery is well done. When changes are needed, they have a clear process for identifying and documenting the changes to the project. And, in the event there are issues either in a project or with their managed services, MapleTronics always addresses the issues and corrects where needed; often sharing or carrying fully themselves the cost of the changes.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Their project management is dependable. I know when they will be on-site, when changes are happening, and how they will affect my network and user community. Change management is handled well. When concerns are raised, they address them quickly with documentation to help make sure everyone clearly understands what is changing and why. MapleTronics is responsive and careful.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their commitment to the partnership between the companies is outstanding and unique. It shows in everything they do. They put our needs ahead of making the sale, working with us to define what will most benefit us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something MapleTronics could have done differently?

MapleTronics' biggest challenge has been getting overwhelmed by the activity of supporting Oaklawn and forgetting to keep communication going. They can be so focused on addressing the issue at hand or delivering the project they are working on that they tend to forget to communicate what they are doing and what they are finding. This is not an attempt to hide anything. Rather, it is simply a matter of remembering that, while they are in the trenches working for Oaklawn, they also need to report in to Oaklawn to keep us informed.

Mapletronics/Formerly Blu Star has worked with us for many years, providing IT services on all levels.   From the day to day operations with log ins for staff, to safety and securityof our systems.  They have staff that come to the site when needed otherwise they are always available by phone.  We have regularly scheduled meetings and updates on our systems software/hardware. etc.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Great customer service, always available when needed, they take the time to keep us updated with the every changing world of "computers" etc.   We love working with Jon and his values for his company.

Always responsive when we call.  Issues get resolved relatively fast and efficiently.
