As founder and GM, I have established Boost LLC Croatia in 2013 with a goal of providing full advisory, logistical and operational assistance to legal entities in the Republic of Croatia. Boost LLC operates on the „one-stop-shop“ principle for all legal entities which want to improve their business and need useful information and logistics assistance, as well as for all companies that are just looking for business development opportunities.

The goal was to increase their own competitiveness by applying network marketing solutions, thus creating the preconditions for business volume growth, maintainance the existing and opening of new workplaces, as well as revenue growth.

In particular, the successful implementation of the investment resulted in (among other things):

• Maintain the existing and opening of new workplaces.

Vendor was selected by searching for appropriate company that could satisfy our needs. We also contacted companies from reference list. Furthermore, we provided vendor with detailed brief of our needs.

We have conducted negotiations, contracting and project plan was developed especially as project was co-financed by EU funding grant. That secured proper project management, defined steps and deliverables per stage. As proposed by vendor, we decided to use WordPress technology for web site in order to be able to place news and announcements ourselves in upcoming period.

We have provided 2 team members from our side and vendor provided 3 employees from their side - project co-ordinator, chief development officer and developer.

Results are: Better online visibility of the company Ability to spread useful business information to broader amount of existing and potential clients That enabled us to increase in sales revenues and realization of export revenues as we started to be attractive to companies from abroad.

Our better online visibility enabled us to be more attractive when opening of new workplaces Better usability and easier navigation by improving website functionality (with quality and accessible information). Reduction of operating costs in marketing (10%) due to better page analytics.

As both Boost LLC and vendor have ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 implemented we have covered project management in most productive and quality way while having data security and Privacy by Design (GDPR) included from very beginning of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As a result of them having ISO certificates but obviously due to quality in approach, we had full understanding of the scope and goals from their side in most useful and simple way. No additional explanations were needed.

Especially bearing in mind that the project was EU funded and required additional reporting and effort in project management due to EU controls of implementation of such projects.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were no visible areas of potential improvement, but as a result of project, we remained in contact, not only in commercial way but in form of regularly exchanging information that our clients might find very useful such as GDPR, national legislation, new versions of ISO standards and similar.

We had weekly remote online meetings and quarterly physical meetings at our and their place. Usually there were two or three-person teams at Maoio and 3 to 5 person teams from our side. Otherwise, we used chat, email and Zoom communications.
