I’m a senior legal manager for a nonprofit organization called ONER.

What challenges were you trying to address with Mangu?

We hired them to help us with the development of our website. Our main goals were to establish a presence in social media, make it easy for our users to access information about our organization, and reach out to more people.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mangu has designed and developed our website from scratch. In the beginning, we had an initial idea that we discussed with them, and they helped us turn it into reality by helping us find the right colors and design that best fit our company’s mission and vision. They’ve already completed the website and are currently implementing updates and providing maintenance support. The website is a general information site.

I work directly with one person.

How did you come to work with Mangu?

They were recommended to me by a friend, so I went to their website to check out their portfolio. After looking through it, I realized that they were a great choice for this project. 

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent about 25,000 Dominican pesos (approximately $470).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in August 2021, and it is an ongoing collaboration.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve received a lot of positive comments about the website, helping our organization become more well-known.

How did Mangu perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re organized and flexible, and they always communicate with us via Zoom, SMS, and phone calls. For managing tasks, we use Asana and Trello. Their team has also met all deadlines — in fact, they’ve managed to complete the site earlier than expected. Overall, it’s very easy to work with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their efficiency, responsiveness, and the quality of their work. Their customer service and communication skills also make them stand out from other service providers.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’m very happy with their work.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you work with them, they will make sure to meet all of your project’s needs. They’re a very professional agency.

We needed help designing our website and an online form that could allow us to gather our client's information.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mangu developed and designed our website from scratch. We provided them with all the information they required about our company's mission, vision, values, logo, etc.; from then on, they started working on the site.

In addition to that, they've been taking care of the site's maintenance and updates.         

What was the team composition?

We worked with two members of their team.

How did you come to work with Mangu?

A friend referred them to us, so I contacted them and started discussing the project.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent $300–$400 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from January–April 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were a business that was just starting, so we were in the process of finding new partners, and although we were in the middle of the pandemic, we could see some results in a short time. 

How did Mangu perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very good with project management, we had constant communications via email and WhatsApp, and they showed great availability. We also used Google Docs to share information. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their creative skills were their most outstanding attribute.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Having more project management tools would've been helpful.

Ensure to establish constant and fluid communication with them.
