I’m the strategy manager at a communications consultancy firm based in Peru.

What challenges were you trying to address with MAIA films?

We needed help creating an institutional video for our company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

MAIA films filmed a video for our client in their offices, production plant, and other company spaces. It aimed to show this company's commitment to the environment. We managed the strategic part, and they were in charge of the process of creating the script, film, and editing.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a team of five, including a producer, videographers, someone in charge of audio, and a director. 

How did you come to work with MAIA films?

I've worked with them on several projects; even in my previous work position, we hired them to film and photograph an art show we organized.

They were considered among other agencies, but their proposal and competitiveness in terms of prices convinced us that they were the best choice for the project. We've had very good experiences working with them, and our clients always end up very happy with the results of our collaborations, so we decided to give them this task.

How much have you invested in them?

We've spent about $12,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working on several projects since January 2008, and the engagement is ongoing, but we have already finished this task.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our clients recently presented the video MAIA films created at an industry meeting and had very good comments from the attendants, so they are delighted with the results.

How did MAIA films perform from a project management standpoint?

They were great; they solved everything quickly and showed great availability and agility. We communicated using Gmail and WhatsApp groups. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their flexibility was outstanding; they adapted to your needs, and we could trust that they'd help us solve anything. It was very valuable to me to know that besides their technical skills, they were there to help us with their support.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think they can improve anything — everything worked well.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They are a company that knows their craft and is great at understanding the client's needs to translate them into AV content. They also have great equipment and use the latest technologies in the business. Plus, they have great human qualities and are passionate and dedicated.
