The scope was to solve ongoing site security issues. We were looking to get our Magento site upgraded to the most current version and to take others steps needed to ensure that we would see no more site security issues. We were also looking for a developer with general expertise in Magento. 
Formerly, we were operating a Magento site that was made by another developer. After a bad experience with that company, we were looking for a new partner that could assist with overall improvements and modifications of our Magento site.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were extremely pleased that our site security issues were eliminated after Magento's work was completed. This was largely accomplished through the upgrade to the most current Magento, but our upgrade process was fairly involved. The prior developer had used custom code that was dated and that wasn't compatible with modern Magento. 
Consequently, entire sections of our site had to be removed and reconstructed to allow compatibility. Magento IT Solution has since assisted with the implementation of patches as soon as Adobe has released them. Additionally, they assisted with the addition of a more comprehensive scanner that has helped ensure site security. 
Upon conclusion of the work, our security issues completely ended. We have now been able to operate using a fully patched and current Magento site. Additionally, we have seen Magento IT Solution succeed with other smaller projects and improvements that we brought to them.

We firstly communicated via telephone, but then quickly went towards email and Whatsapp. It took a little bit to establish a good cadence, but then communication has flowed well. Typically, once a target completion date for given work was established, it has then generally been met.
