I engaged Luxolis to handle custom software development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The project was supposed to last for three months. By the end of the fourth month, Luxolis hadn't even finished 40% of the project. They had developed some features, but the frontend wasn't integrated with the backend.

I was in contact with the CEO, Brian, as well as some of the developers.

I found them via Google, and I also checked out their reviews on Clutch.

The cost was about $30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the project in March 2022. The project was supposed to be completed in May but then Luxolis dropped it in June, as they were unable to finish. However, I am still in contact with some of their developers.

How did your relationship with the vendor evolve?

Realizing that they couldn't finish the project, Luxolis simply dropped the project, kicked out their own staff, and deleted the whole project on GitHub without any communication, which delayed the launch of my business.

Now, I need to pay a whole bunch of money to hire another vendor to redo some of my backend functionalities. Luxolis didn't even give me the courtesy of accessing whatever they'd done.

How was project management handled?

This project has proven that they cannot even deliver the most basic tasks. They are unprofessional and don't seem to have basic knowledge of the marketplace. They claim that they have marketplace experience but they hired a bunch of contractors and extremely low-level interns for my project, thus wasting our time.

No, nothing.

Their project management and skillset both need to be improved.

I would avoid Luxolis.

They were able to deliver a smooth, very easy to use interface that is exceptionally easy to navigate. The website conversion funnel was intentional and clearly defined with clickable phone numbers, engaging landing pages with clear calls to action, and engaging content.

LuxPm likewise worked really hard in tweaking our site to accommodate our image by executing personalized logo, color scheme, and other customized features. Overall, LuxPm did a great job with the web design of our company. The new site now attracts a regular influx of new prospective clients.

They were very hands on from planning to execution. Everything was communicated and discussed before modifications.

The banking bot project was built using artificial algorithms and robot scripts using Python and Bash. They designed a system where the bot recognizes user’s query and understands what he wants to convey and simultaneously answers them appropriately. The built in artificial intelligence system realizes user requirements and provides suitable answers to the user. It also used a graphical representation of a person speaking while giving answers as a real person would do.

LuxPM was able to build an entirely automated banking bot with AI capabilities. The banking bot effectively catered to the bank's customer service in number of ways. It understands user queries and fetches the requested information from thousands of possible sources, in a matter of milliseconds. With this automation, it made it possible to service our clients faster and with convenience.

In the span of 4 months, we had meetings at least once a week and emails for project changes or updates came almost everyday.

Convenient and timesaving: the service helps deliver accessible healthcare to community members with a click of a button. LuxPM was able to modify our website, build our entire CMS as well as create a mobile consultation app which is now available on Android and iOS. Now, patients can schedule for in-person or virtual medical consultations with health practitioners, anywhere and anytime.

The project was very successful, and the website worked perfectly. Even if there were some minor bugs, Lux responded to the issues quickly and solved all of them on time.

Lux made effort into having a meeting every week with us, presenting the progress of the project on a PPT document.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed by how transparent they were as they showed all of their progress every week. I was even able to see the development of the website on a daily basis as they shared a test server with us.
