I’m the director of an e-commerce development company called Balcony Software.

What challenges were you trying to address with Lubee?

We had to develop some modules for a system we had developed ourselves, and we decided to outsource the development to them.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lubee has developed modules for a system from scratch, and they continue to provide us with maintenance support. Their team uses .NET for development.

What was the team composition? 

We worked with two to three people at least. Although I worked directly with the project managers and don’t know if there was a bigger team involved.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent more than $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?
 
We started working with them at the beginning of  2018, and it is an ongoing collaboration.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The modules are fully operational and working perfectly.

How did Lubee perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Microsoft Visual Studio as our project management tool. For communication, we use Zoom, Google Meet, and other platforms.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very liable and have done a good job. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They can improve their turnaround times.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would recommend them as a service provider.

I'm a project leader at an insurance company based in Argentina.

What challenges were you trying to address with Lubee?

We were looking for service providers for a solution that a bank requested from us, so we needed help with software solutions and web development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lubee has been helping us with website development from scratch, using .NET technologies and SQL databases. In addition, they're working with APIs and web services.

The site's goal is to allow our users to consult the information about their credits, insurance policies, debts, etc., through an integration with a bank's platform.

What was the team composition?

I work with two developers and technical leaders from their team.

How did you come to work with Lubee?

We chose them for this project because we liked what they offered, and they were one of our recurrent service providers. 

How much have you invested in them?

For this project, we've invested $50,000–$80,000 Argentine pesos (approximately $340–$550 USD) so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2015, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

This website is key for the bank we're working with because we didn't have a clear registry of how many people were requesting and accessing credits, so having that helped streamline their processes. A process that used to take one week decreased to 2–3 days.

How did Lubee perform from a project management standpoint?

Their good performance in project management is one of the main reasons we chose them as a recurrent service provider. They're great at adjusting our budget, needs, and possibilities.

Regarding tools and communication, we mainly use email, phone calls, and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our project has strict compliance indicators requested by the insurance superintendence, and Lubee's work is so good and successful that other companies are asking for them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on — everything's coming out perfectly with them.

Talk to them; they'll do a great job if you are clear on your requirements.
