LocalForge is a web design studio based in San Jose, CA, building custom websites and Shopify stores for small local businesses nationwide.
Every client starts with three free homepage concepts: three different directions for the same business, side by side. They choose the one that fits, and we build it into the finished site. A build covers custom design across every page, a layout made for phones, a contact form, search-engine basics (page titles, descriptions and a sitemap), testing, and rounds of revisions before launch. We can register a new domain or connect one the business already owns, and keep the site hosted and looked after on a monthly plan once it is live.
We work most with therapists and counselors, wellness practices and med spas, contractors and home builders, consultants, events and bands, authors and creatives, and ecommerce brands on Shopify.
Recent work includes a bilingual author website for a poet in Yonkers, NY; a speed dating website with booking, check-in and matches in Ocean County, NJ; a website with two cost calculators for a timeshare exit company in Orlando; a custom home builder website for North Mississippi and Memphis; and Shopify stores for a one-of-a-kind jewelry designer in Scottsdale, AZ and a faith-based journal and apparel brand. Each project has a case study showing the three concepts, the one the client chose, and the live site.
