BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am CEO of the startup Ricemining, we provide investment solutions in crypto mining for end investors.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire LISIT?

We needed to improve the online infrastructure of the website. Our CRM needed speed improvements and process automation so that our users can connect their virtual wallets within our platform, which improves usability and adds value to our service.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked for several providers through Linkedin and we held meetings, we decided on Lisit due to the cost of its operations and due to the geographic proximity to solve problems and time differences.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We select a 50 hour package divided into 3 stages. We use the SCRUM methodology to know the progress and status of the project. The first stage required adapting our CRM to the needs, auditing the files, api and external functions. For this, new php functions were created which are now included in our CRM.

The second stage required the implementation of the Metamask wallet within our CRM, using the metamask API and WalletConnect. We had to review the security of the site, the calls to the walletconnect api and test the visualization and usability within the CRM.

The third stage meant the deployment of the changes to the live website, testing the connections, functions and the correct functioning of the website. Currently we have maintenance with Lisit once a month, this maintenance lasts around 1hs.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We were in permanent contact with the Project Manager, with whom we met once a month. In turn, we work in parallel with 2 Lisit IT professionals and our internal developer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

By implementing metamask and wallet connect in our CRM, users should not leave the platform to carry out transactions with their cryptocurrencies. Our clients can exchange, send and receive cryptocurrencies within our website which adds value to the Ricemining service.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We found their workflow to be a streamlined and easy process to follow. We had never used SCRUM for project tracking before but the learning curve was easy and the Project Manager was always available to help us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Lisit was concerned about knowing our business model and they asked us questions about how we work with our clients. This made it easy to work towards the same goal considering Ricemining's needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think they could work on improving the email system so that so many emails do not always arrive about the tasks performed.
