I hired Lievant to build a shopify app.

How did you select Lievant and what were the deciding factors?

The deciding factors were how they (mis)represented their knowledge of Shopify, Magento, Laravel and PHP

They were supposed to develop an app on the front and and on the back end.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The salesperson Mario Ibarra, a project manager, "senior" developer and some entry level developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Complete failure. They sold me a piece of JUNK! We had to spend 300+ hours and counting to fix the back end. They have no idea what they are doing. Additionally, they intentionally hacked into all of our sites, ruined our configurations and stole data. They're a bunch of criminals.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

What style? Its all theater. They hold a weekly meeting and pretend to work when in reality they do nothing.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The way they were able to sell themselves while being utterly unqualified to do anything for this project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Send Mario to jail. Assign it to another firm.
