I’m the owner of a home repair and remodeling company here in Oregon.

What challenge were you trying to address with Libre, LLC?

We hired them to revamp our website and help us improve our online presence. We wanted them to offer a user-friendly experience to our customers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Libre, LLC researched a lot of larger construction companies to see how they were managing their online presence, and they used that as a basis on what they needed to do for the website in order to make an even better product. They also sent a couple of sketches to get our feedback before they finalized the platform. Once the website was done, they integrated links where our customers could jump from Google to the website or Facebook, making sure everything was working as one. On top of that, they handled our Google My Business profile.

We have an ongoing project because we reach out to them if we need to create new features on the website. Libre, LLC also ensures that our platform’s up to date, and they frequently review the website to identify when they need to implement updates.

What is the team composition?

I’m working with Sean (Owner) who’s in charge of planning and creating the website sketches and Christina (Principal) who’s in charge of taking professional photos.

How did you come to work with Libre, LLC?

I heard about Libre, LLC when they were still starting their company. They reached out to me and asked me about what I had on my website, and they offered to provide a more professional website that could help us get more business.

We ultimately decided to work with them because of their strong communication skills. We also saw that they knew were experts in their field. Overall, they went above and beyond to research companies in our field so that we could have a better product out in the market.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $1,600.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began collaborating together in August 2020, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I had a copy and paste type of pamphlet website and I had zero customers reaching out to me. However, as soon as Libre, LLC took over, local people researching around our area have been able to find us through our website. Our visibility has definitely increased more than 1,000%, and the number of visitors and subscribers on our website also soared. On average, 200–300 people are visiting our website per month.

How did Libre, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They have a top-notch project management process; they communicate well, and they keep us updated on the status of our project. They’re also open to implementing the changes we request. Overall, we feel like they’re part of our company.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with the quality of work they produce as well as the exceptional resources they have that are working on our project. We got a great deal from them because they wanted to show others what they could do when they were just starting their business. They also wanted to get more business once they showed their work to potential clients.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’ve been doing everything right.

I’m the founder of Mrs. Perry's Art Studio. We’re an online lesson library platform for teachers and students.

What challenge were you trying to address with Libre, LLC?

They built the website. It had to be accessible for teachers and students.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Libre, LLC has created our entire website from scratch. The site allows users to look for art lessons according to their grade level, and school districts can purchase packages. It also showcases an image and a complete description of each lesson, including what the lesson covers and how it meets OSPI standards.

To jumpstart the project, we worked together to make the site work for the school districts. I provided all the artwork, and they offered some icons.

We’ve recently expanded the platform to include another division and added 35 lessons to the program. Libre, LLC has put it all together.

What is the team composition?

I primarily work with Sean (Owner & Designer). He’s worked on the website’s building and set up, and he’s also helped to put up the payment process. Additionally, I’ve worked with Christina (Social Media Manager & Photographer) for the monthly payments.

How did you come to work with Libre, LLC?

Sean has been my son’s best friend since second grade, and I knew that I could work with him. I couldn’t build the website on my own, and I knew Sean would listen to me and help me put it together the way I wanted.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent around $4,000. We traded part of the cost; Sean used my home and garden to shoot marketing images for the backdrop of his website.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2019, and it’s an ongoing project. The site is up and running, but we add lessons each month.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’ve received feedback from teachers who use the platform, and they all love it. It’s well-organized and easy to use, and that was all their doing. We gave a few suggestions, but Libre, LLC came up with better ideas.

Also, I can call them when there’s an issue with the website. They fix it immediately and don’t hesitate to help, and I appreciate that a lot.

How did Libre, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been excellent. I’ve learned from them, and they’ve given me great advice. I enjoy working with them. We typically communicate over emails or phone calls because they’re in another state.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re good listeners. The team stands out for listening to what the customer wants.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There have been only a couple of things that I’ve wanted to change; the icons were one of them. It was just a personal dislike; it had nothing to do with the quality of their work. I can’t think of anything else to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Find somebody that will listen to what you want and understands your vision. Also, make sure you can communicate well with them — that has worked out great work for Libre, LLC and me.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I knew Christina and she told me about her company! It was an easy choice to pick Libre, LLC to design the website!

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

First, they had me set up an email just for Midwest Baker. Through there we worked with Google docs where they would have sets of questions of things I liked or disliked. I also would share my photos of my work with them and my logo! They kept me updated through the whole time they were creating the website! Once the project was finished they set up a zoom meeting to walk me through the website and asked me to go over it to change anything I wanted changed!

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I worked with both Sean and Christina. They both communicated with me on design like colors, fonts, photos, pricing. At the end during the website walk through it was both of them together!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the website, I’ve been hired by school district to make cookies for the staff, I’ve had far more orders throughout the community. I’ve also had orders from people traveling to the area too!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was great! They worked in a timely manner and I communicated with them too! I didn’t wait to respond to requests of theirs and vice versa!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are caring! They really want their clients to succeed. I as the client also want them to succeed as well!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I know of! Communication was great, we were states away from each other too. They really understood my style!

I'd met Libre through networking events, it was time and he was reasonable priced.

We had a kickoff meeting, discussed our goals and then he took a week to produce a mockup.

He analyzed our current website, pulled relevant info, worked to move domain and built the new site with Ivan's personality in mind so that it reflected him and how he does his work.

The project was delivered on time and on budget, and I'm thrilled with the results.
