What specific goals or objectives did you hire LetoSoft to accomplish?

The core challenge was to take over an existing scale calibration software with complex logic and a legacy codebase, then fully rebuild it using the existing code as a reference, including all advanced calibration formulas. The new solution had to be easy to use for workshops and manufacturers in any production location.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

• Backend Development

LetoSoft built a cloud-based backend on Azure DevOps infrastructure and implemented API integrations with the client’s internal systems to automatically collect and process product data. All calibration formulas and business logic from the legacy system were fully transferred and re-implemented in the backend. LetoSoft also introduced a role-based access control system,  a localisation to several languages and a secure storage for calibration protocols.

• Frontend Development

LetoSoft migrated the solution from a desktop PC application to a modern web application to ensure easy access across all manufacturing locations. The team also redesigned the protocol-filling workflow to make it more intuitive and user friendly and implemented integration with the client’s printing software to generate and print calibration protocols and labels directly from the system.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

LetoSoft helped us relaunch our calibration software, which now enables faster and more reliable scale calibration. The system has been running smoothly ever since. With their support, we now have a robust and dynamic platform that meets our operational needs.

LetoSoft’s engineers were always responsive and easy to work with. They helped us resolve several challenges related to external integrations and our IT infrastructure. The process was transparent, and after each sprint we could clearly see and evaluate the progress.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Develop a lifestyle & wellness companion app that will let users track and view their fitness progress by connecting fitness devices like activity trackers, body fat scales and blood pressure monitors. Available categories for tracking: Activity, Sleep, Weight, Blood Pressure & Pulse. The app will also accompany the users in their progress by suggesting trackable and non-trackable habits/tasks for the categories as well as general lifestyle and nutrition tipps. To make the experience more human and relatable, the app also includes a visual and digitally alive "creature" (work-name AVI) that will visually reflect the health status of the user according to the tracked or entered data. Additional features include alarm-setting and notifications with Activity Trackers. All data can be saved locally or - optionally - saved into the company's cloud. Account set-up and management included. The app can also be connected to other tracking apps like Google fit, Apple Health or Samsung S-Health. Data export via CSV is also possible.

The project management and communication were very professional and efficient. There were constant updates, shared tools, and, if necessary, daily stand-ups. Milestones were regularly reached on time. If issues came up, LetoSoft would inform us as soon as possible, always offering multiple solutions and finding creative and functional ways to fix problems if needed. LetoSoft always listened carefully to our wishes and needs, trying to make it all happen while providing advice and keeping user reality in mind.

The task wast to  integrate seamlessly into the existing project and add  frontend support for new product features.
 • Automated Quality Assurance:
Since the platform was actively used by end customers, automated testing was a critical part. The QA engineer task was to implement automated test coverage for both existing and newly developed features.
