They usually assign a dedicated team to tackle our projects. Their work includes developing native Android and iOS apps, and they use React.js for the frontend, Node.js for the backend, and MongoDB for our database.

As a sample, the team has already built a dating app for people who want to look for their soul mate or for people who are simply looking for relationships. The end users can share their skills and interests on their profiles before they can get a notification from other users. After that, they can schedule a date if they want. Furthermore, different subscriptions models can be availed by our end-users, and a payment method has been integrated into the platform. To date, the Kuchoriya Softwares team has developed 7–8 products.

We’re working with 7–8 people from their team, including their CTO, business development manager, project manager, scrum master, web developer, mobile app developers, and QA lead.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped me develop three websites. The first website is entirely informative and has a React frontend and Node.js backend. Users can easily find information about my product, services, and rates. If they’re interested, they can fill out a contact form. Once we receive an information query from the backend, my team gets in contact with them to close the deal.

The second website is an ERP. We can manage and track everything from initial to end. They used Angular on the frontend and Node.js on the backend, but used MongoDB on the database.  

The third website is built on WordPress and helps us manage 4–5 modules. It features a sign-in, create a profile, manage a profile, a following, and chat system.

I was trying to get a website developed because the one I had wasn’t very good. I reached out Kuchoriya Softwares to try and get them to design, build. And deploy a website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Kuchoriya designed and developed our website. My ideal outcome going into it was something simple that would show how my app operates from the website, and also get additional information. They provided me with a team to work on the UX/UI design and gave recommendations to make the site more modern and flow better. I originally had a Wix website, but they mentioned that it was outdated, so they used JavaScript to update it.

When I reached out to them initially, they first asked me for the prototype that I got from the original UX/UI designer — I sent it to them and they looked it over. After that, they asked me if I wanted their UX/UI design team to come in and do some research to see what would better fit — I agreed and they came back with their recommendations and it turned out well.

I think they performed great. My biggest thing was communications and they kept me informed throughout the entire process. They were on me to make sure I provided the needed information in a timely manner so they could finish on time. We typically communicated through Skype and did video meetings using Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What separates Kuchoriya from their competition are their price, communication, and quality of work. Their price was relatively low compared to some of the other folks I looked into. Their communication was also great, as I never felt like I was being mistreated or ignored. Lastly, the quality of their work was great with the way things turned out — I was very happy.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m not sure as they went out of their way to ensure I understood their recommendations and what was going on. I really appreciated that because if it was up to me, I would’ve been stuck with a mediocre website. They provided me with good quality service and good quality recommendations, so I don’t think there’s anything I would've changed.

They also got me out of my comfort zone to provide all that information on the fly, which I didn’t even think about beforehand.

I would let them know that if they’re planning on working with Kuchoriya, make sure they understand what needs to be done and get all their content ready. Their team moves fast and gets things done.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Kuchoriya Softwares Inc. developed our B2B and B2C platform. These applications are for brokers and customers who want to purchase properties. Brokers can post their properties and customers can sign up, sign in, and review the property detail. They can communicate with the broker or property owner as well as do the payment online. That is the B2C model.

The B2B model is where brokers and property owners can store their properties. To store their properties, they have to subscribe to a subscription plan on my platform. I’ve integrated PayPal for the payment. Kuchoriya Softwares completed my web platform, mobile applications, and now they’re handling maintenance, support, and digital marketing services. They also handle listing all the properties remotely.

Initially, they followed our discovery phase. They discussed the requirements and then provided a detailed document and flow. After that, they proposed a UI/UX phase. In that case, they provided a complete design of the web and mobile application. They provided a complete project delivery plan. They said they would deliver the solution within 5–6 months.

The initial website MVP launch slipped by about 4 weeks due to scope creep and architectural challenges that were underestimated. However, the team responded well by doing a reset, re-planning that phase, and bringing in additional senior engineering resources to get it back on track.
