We are a decentralized gaming company, I am the co-founder.

For what projects/services did your company hire Krypton Labs?

We had the idea to create a play-to-earn game. We searched for companies and ended up discussing with Krypton. They came up with lots of ideas for the game but also the expertise they had with blockchain gave us the confidence to hire them.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They have in the development team some of the earliest contributors to the Ethereum blockchain in the team and have profound experience in developing smart contracts.

We came up with the concept for the game Krypton helped us define the final version of the concept They chose the best technology stack for the development We discussed and agreed on the contract Krypton started the implementation We had very clear milestones and they stuck to the deadlines agreed.

We had 4 devs and 1 Pm who worked on the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As stated before, they were very serious about the deadlines for each step of the project and this helped us a lot. During the development, we had to implement some marketing campaigns and we were confident that if we were to announce a milestone of the game in our community, it was done at the date of the announcement.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was very easy to work with them. There were multiple situations when the PM came up with great ideas and also he pushed the dev team to implement some cool features that we did not think of.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What was really impressive is that they helped us raise funds for this project. They contacted some of their partners and VC's and helped us complete the seed round. Also, some of their team members also invested in the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'm not sure how to answer this question. We were very satisfied with Krypton.

In late 2020, Krypton Labs partnered with us to develop the Equalizer Finance DeFi Flash Loan Marketplace. This collaboration began with extensive discussions and brainstorming, from which the initial concept was polished and refined into a pragmatic vision. Krypton Labs created a comprehensive project proposal and promptly commenced the development phase. 

Adhering to clear timelines and deadlines, they maintained a steady stream of weekly updates and demos, ensuring transparency throughout the project. Their proficiency in managing the development process was apparent, swiftly addressing bugs and potential issues without compromising on the product's quality or the project timeline. 

Their solution-driven mindset facilitated the smooth transition of the Equalizer Finance platform from an idea to a fully-functioning marketplace. • Product Development: The completion of the marketplace as per the defined project scope and timelines is the most concrete measure of success. Each development phase was completed on schedule, and all functionalities were delivered as promised. 
• User Adoption: The number of users actively using the platform has consistently increased since its launch, indicating its acceptance and utility in the market. 
• Bug and Error Rate: A low incidence of bugs and errors post-launch is a testament to the quality of the software developed. Quick fixes were applied to any bugs that arose, ensuring uninterrupted service.

Their commitment extends to accepting salaries in Ethereum (ETH), providing them first-hand exposure to the volatility of the crypto market. Experiencing multiple ETH crashes has enriched their comprehension of market dynamics and risk mitigation strategies. 

This personal engagement with the market's volatility significantly informs their approach to product development, enabling them to design resilient solutions capable of withstanding market fluctuations. Thus, their personal experience adds an additional layer to their professional expertise, enhancing their product development capabilities.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Krypton Labs could have done differently?

I think we could benefit of more user training sessions. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.
