I’m the head of management a brokerage firm specializing in MCX commodities trading, including gold, silver, and a range of other commodity instruments.

We needed to design and develop a custom MCX trading platform that streamlines trade execution, manages real-time market data, simplifies brokerage operations, and delivers a fast, reliable, and user-friendly trading experience tailored to our business needs.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Kraftech Consultancy handled the complete end-to-end development of our custom MCX trading platform, covering UI/UX design, system architecture, and full-stack development. The scope included real-time market data integration via APIs, order management system (buy/sell execution), live price tracking, client account and portfolio management, and brokerage calculation logic. They also implemented secure authentication, role-based admin controls, and reporting dashboards.Kraftech Consultancy primarily focused on the core technical aspects of the project, including UI/UX design, full-stack development, real-time MCX data integration, order execution system, brokerage logic, and overall platform performance and scalability. They also handled testing, deployment, and optimization to ensure a stable trading experience.The only areas not directly handled by them were external dependencies such as MCX data feed subscriptions, which were our responsibility, but they guided us on how to get those APIs and whom to contact.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project delivered clear, measurable improvements across our operations. Trade execution speed improved significantly with near real-time order processing, reducing manual intervention by over 70%. The platform enabled us to handle a higher volume of trades without performance issues, improving overall operational efficiency.We also saw better client management with centralized dashboards, leading to faster onboarding and improved tracking of portfolios and transactions. System reliability and uptime improved, and the automation of brokerage calculations and reporting reduced errors and saved substantial time, directly contributing to smoother day-to-day operations and business scalability.Post-implementation, we observed a ~2.5x increase in daily trade volume capacity without any performance degradation. Order execution latency was reduced to under 200 milliseconds, enabling near real-time trading. System uptime consistently remained above 98% (if down or in maintenance, it was mostly during the nighttime, which was our non-working time), ensuring high availability during active market hours. Automation of brokerage calculations, reporting, and client management workflows reduced manual effort by approximately 70–80%, saving an estimated 4–5 hours of operational time per day. Additionally, client onboarding and account handling became ~60% faster due to centralized dashboards and streamlined processes.

How did Kraftech Consultancy perform from a project management standpoint?

Kraftech Consultancy maintained a highly transparent and well-structured project management approach. They provided us with access to tools like Jira and Slack, which allowed us to track progress in real time, monitor task statuses, and stay aligned with ongoing development.Through Slack, we were able to communicate directly with engineers, project managers, and other team members, enabling quick discussions, faster issue resolution, and seamless collaboration. This level of transparency and accessibility significantly improved coordination and ensured the project stayed on track.

What stood out most was their deep understanding of complex trading systems and their ability to translate our brokerage requirements into a highly efficient, real-time platform. Their focus on performance, low-latency execution, and system reliability was particularly impressive.Additionally, their transparency in communication, direct access to the development team, and proactive approach to problem-solving made the entire engagement smooth and highly collaborative. They didn’t just build the software — they truly understood the business side and optimized the solution accordingly.
