I'm founder of Dabster.im startup

For what projects/services did your company hire Kostyl Works, and what were your goals?

We was at early stage with our idea to build a solution for small teams to onboard and build carrier learning track. With our own team it was hard to build. We never faced challenge to build solution that stands with modern design and user experience. I wanted to be more focused on business, not development.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was looking for team who is not an "outsource" stuff. But actually can face challenges with me in team and take responsibility for decisions. So it was the main factor. How professional team and how deeply can go with me to solve problem.

It was a full cycle from early idea, market research, design concepts, choosing the very first features, architecture that can work stable and development stack that could be easyly supporte.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

A product director, art director, QA team and QA lead, development team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are at state where we ready to launch at product hunt. Design is flawless. Processes smooth. I can just drop idea of features and KW team guide me through process to achieve best from feature idea. So i can focus on strategy and market,

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

It was a weekly call, monthly reviews, strategy session to put together all team members. Sometimes one on one consultations and couching from their founder.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are deeply passioned about what they do. It's like your highly motivated team to achieve result. But you don't need to motivate them. They're ready to go with us in and achieve results in very complex tech challenges.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

At first launch there was a struggle for me to support two versions of languages. But KW and Stas came up with a solution where i can seamlessly manage all languages, so we were able to delegate translations.
