I lead the sales team at a company specializing in integrated end-to-end IT solutions. Our services include developing software solutions for varied sectors.

For what projects/services did your company hire Koru UX Design?

We were looking to create a CPQ platform to configure the right products to match our customers’ requirements. We wanted to complement our existing CRM tool to combine the requirements and be a one-stop solution to maintain and manage sales pipelines, customer sentiment, notes, and inter-team conversations.

We were looking for a vendor online and came across Koru UX through their social profiles. What made us pick them was their expertise in designing a range of B2B products

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Our existing CRM tool is primarily used to maintain and manage sales pipelines, requirements, and stages of the conversation, and maintain customer communication. We were looking to integrate CPQ functionality to enable product configuration, pricing, and quote generation into a seamless part of the sales process.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We were assigned a Project Manager who led us through the whole process and directly dealt with our requirements. The team comprised 2 UI specialists and 1 UX architect.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We now had an integrated CRM that met the needs of our team, end-to-end. Since the client service executives could monitor the leads in realtime, they were able to accurately classify them and provide custom quotations. The number of leads serviced rose by 21%, and the integrated app had a minimal learning curve.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Working with the team at Koru UX Design was a great experience. They have an eye for detail and come up with ingenious solutions. They are open-minded when it comes to accepting feedback and that created a good rapport.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their team is young and innovative, and they love taking on challenges. They are proactive and focused on the deliverables.

For what projects/services did your company hire Koru UX Design?

We approached Koru UX Design to help us design a new B2B wealth management portal for our clients across the full spectrum of banking needs.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We had previously worked on a UX audit for this product with Koru and we were thoroughly impressed with the insights provided by them. This project became a natural extension of the UX audit and made sense to carry it forward.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Our existing portal was limited in terms of functionality, and its complex design was very challenging to learn and use, causing low client satisfaction and high support costs. We were looking forward to revamping it with an aim to offer user-friendly customizations, realtime updates, improve its competitive position and to address client expectations. With our wealth management portal we were looking to design a safe and secure online experience to administer the clients’ investments, deposits, and property. The goal was to enable smooth digital communication while maintaining confidentiality, a personal approach, and above-standard attention to details.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Koru assigned a Project Manager to our project who was the primary POC along with a team of 3 UX designers. They worked alongside our in-house team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We commenced the project with a design strategy workshop, where Ithe focus was on high-level IA, design library elements, primary page layouts, and key design patterns. A special mention to their dedicated efforts while validating the design concepts with end users, and then investing the same energy into revisions and improvements in interaction designs, UI, and even the copy.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The team at Koru had a great grip on communication systems which ensures that there are minimal delays and effortless conversations going on at all times. We never had to tell them one thing twice and we appreciate how their team managed to blend in with ours with no friction.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team at Koru that was assigned to our project was sharp and efficient. I suppose that their previous experiences on working with complex B2B finance applications have given them an edge in terms of ideation and finding solutions to sticky problems.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of.

Sachin has been very accommodative of the tight timelines and delivered the requested designs in a timely manner.

Sachin is very open to dialogue and has accommodated meeting requests on the fly.

Quality of work can use some improvement.

Our company is a boutique investment bank. I am the Head of Product Design at the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Koru UX Design?

Our UX was outdated and we were looking for a complete overhaul.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted an enhanced UX that helped teams in managing their business leads, along with letting the agents monitor their daily follow-ups and tasks.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We had shortlisted about seven agencies and raised RFPs. Based on the work that Koru showed on the demo calls and the price they quoted for the project, we were convinced. We found their work outstanding and were reasonably priced.

Describe the project in detail.

We were at a point in time when we were considering performance upgrades and with that a refreshed UI. We wanted to make sure that as we take up an initiative this large, we wanted to make sure that we also involve a design side expert to build a model that was usable and appreciated by our users. Moreover, we wanted to ensure that our CRM was scalable for future development and therefore needed a strategic UX design.

What was the team composition?

We initially interacted with their account manager and head of UX design. Later we interacted with solely with a Project Manager who managed a team of designers and developers assigned to our project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Through the improved and new CRM, we were able to improve user productivity by over 40 percent. Additionally, we also managed to get a System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 78.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had excellent workflow management between the Koru team and us. The team managed the whole project on Jira and gave everyday detailed updates on calls through GoTo Meetings. They were open to working on tools that we were already using and were comfortable with.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team was always upfront in their communication and never failed to meet a deadline.

No improvement, just keep up the good work.

I’m the associate manager for product marketing at a supply chain company.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to make the interface user-friendly and prescriptive since many of the users were first-timers. Our goal was to do the redesign quickly and efficiently.

Our recent customer satisfaction (CSAT) surveys showed positive feedback and appreciation for the redesigned interface.

We had regular meetings and an effective reporting mechanism. Plus, our account manager was communicative and always met our expectations.
