BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

StudyLand is a company that helps students from all over the world find a suitable university and study program in Europe. I am project and recruitment manager at StudyLand. Also, I'm responsible for the company website development and dev team coordination.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire KODR Agency, and what were your goals?

We hire KODR Agency to design and develop our company website. We have chosen WordPress as the main platform for the site. We wanted a light, friendly, yet professional website that would tell about the company's services and let our potential clients know that with us they will never be alone in a foreign country. During the work, the KODR team was very kind to also help us with additional tasks. For example, email letter design and other graphic designs.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We shortlisted some agencies in Ukraine that provided Web development services and held Google Maets calls with them to understand their approach and competency. Eventually, we had chosen KODR for their WordPress expertise, extensive portfolio, and cost estimate.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We explained our whole idea - what we needed of them. Based on their understanding, they came up with a few design concepts in Figma - one of which was great, and thus we went ahead with it. After the WordPress website was created, they added the custom features, like the multi-step contact form, and also helped us translate the website into the Russian language. The second part of our work was to develop a directory solution, so we could publish our partner universities and their education programs.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked directly with our project manager - Sergey. Additionally, we were also assigned a developer, UI designer, and QA expert who helped us along the way.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The feedback has been brilliant. The new website has been part of our new marketing push and we have had many compliments on it. The ease of navigation and showcase of our services has directly related to us acquiring new clients.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

It was all friendly and systematic. We relied on messengers, Notion app, and Google Meet for project management and communication. They kept things transparent and notified us from time to time about the progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to quickly understand our requirements and come up with amazing ideas was impressive. They were punctual and determined. For each assigned task, their solution was well thought out and researched. Plus they are genuinely good people. They are very easy to talk to and easy to work with. They not only work for money, their ultimate goal was to satisfy us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It's a pleasure to work with them. They took the time to understand exactly what we needed and tailored their services to suit our needs. We are fully happy with KODR.
