I’m the logistics supervisor at a biotechnology company. We do genetic and sample testing and carrier screening.

What challenge were you trying to address with Koderspedia Solutions?
We have a process called tissue return, which we initially had in Austin, Texas. We had planned on moving the process to Pleasanton, California, to consolidate our existing tissue samples with the new samples that were coming in so that once the test was done, we could ship all the samples out at the same time.
When we receive a physical tissue sample, we scan it onto a spreadsheet and then match that 100% with a manifest using a data script. That way, we can check for discrepancies between the sample and the manifest. We needed a company that could develop a data script that could consolidate the new samples that we received with the existing samples that we had.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started the project by establishing our needs and goals. Based on the information I provided Koderspedia Solutions, they built an online data script dashboard from scratch using a Google API. 
After creating the dashboard, I gave them further instructions on handling the patient-sensitive information we would provide them and clarified what information we needed the solution to provide us. After that, they delivered the final solution.

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact was Peter (Advanced Solutions Coordinator). I also communicated with another person, whom I coordinated with at the beginning to establish our needs. They were both great to work with.

I found Koderspedia Solutions on Thumbtack, a local services platform. I posted a job description on the platform, and Koderspedia Solutions was one of the three service providers that reached out to me. We decided to go with them because of their positive reviews on the platform and because they were able to commit to the timeline that I provided.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2024, and the dashboard was delivered in July 2024. I still keep in touch with them just in case we encounter any issues with the dashboard or need any further improvements.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Koderspedia Solutions delivered a dashboard that allowed us to upload our manifests and spreadsheets and run our samples using an algorithm to check for discrepancies.

How did the company perform from a project management standpoint?

Koderspedia Solutions completed the project on time, which was very important because we needed the data script as soon as we transferred the process from Austin, Texas, to Pleasanton, California.
We primarily communicated through email, phone calls, and Zoom meetings for progress meetings. They usually responded to my emails, text messages, and phone calls immediately or within the same day.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Koderspedia Solutions delivered a solution that provided us with the information that we needed and solved our problem, which was the most important thing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would have preferred it if they had used Zoom for all of our meetings instead of just for milestones. If we had used Zoom more often, like once or twice a week, it would have streamlined our communication and feedback process and made it easier to give them our feedback instead of having multiple email exchanges to clarify some issues.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

If you make a list of your expected deliverables using the SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) approach, then you will definitely get the result that you need.

I will start this review with my age, which is 66. I think this is important for any of you non-tech people reading this review. While I am intrigued and find new technology wonderful and useful, I am completely inept at working with it let alone creating a program. Even more challenging is my inability to articulate to those in the "tech world" what I want! 

My experience with KodersPedia, and specifically Eric, has been extraordinary. Eric and his team were able to bring my vision to life and it simply knocks me out! Despite my lack of technology jargon, he was able to understand what I wanted and then he created it! Eric communicated with me regularly via email, text, and phone as he developed the program I will be using in connection with my artwork. 

I wanted a viewer experience that would be expanded by use of a smart phone that would be easy to understand and simple to use - FOR ALL AGES! This project was for an art installation as well as a "proof of concept" for other commissioned artworks. Eric delivered big time! I am so happy and pleased with the final outcome AND the entire experience was wonderful. 

As I continue to create more artworks in this style, I will be using KodersPedia (and hopefully Eric!). I am grateful that I found this company as I have no experience in hiring a programmer, and as I will NOW refer to Eric as a "vision maker" and not a programmer! 

I will also add that my initial interaction with KodersPedia was with Gary, and he was also very helpful. He was able to understand what I wanted, gave me the pricing and the timeframe for the work to be completed, and EVERYTHING was done as promised. 

One of the BEST experiences, if not THE BEST experience I have ever had hiring someone I never met to do something so vitally important to my art career. The bonus is that both gentlemen were friendly and had a wonderful sense of humor. I am a very thrilled and satisfied customer.

I found them through Upwork and selected them because they were responsive to my inquiry and asked questions I felt were thought-provoking and helpful in taking the project in a certain direction. Moreover, they answered all my questions and were punctual with our scheduled appointments. Their value in terms of pricing also seemed reasonable to me.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I would give high marks to the effectiveness of Koderspedia's workflow with me. When an item doesn't meet the highest mark, we communicate and follow up, and they take care of those tasks. I measure their success based on how close the game is to being functional and available. I'm also following the timeline and the milestones they outlined at the beginning of our relationship. 

How did Koderspediaperform from a project management standpoint?

They've given me the opportunity to add additional features that weren't part of the original agreement. Therefore, we're running a bit behind schedule, though it's not a delay I'm concerned about — it's in the two-week range. Overall, they've done a good job with timelines and budgets. 

Most of our communication is through email, and we also use phone calls and occasional text messages. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm impressed with Koderspedia's responsiveness and professionalism. I also appreciate their willingness to educate me about things I don't understand. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Regarding the initial process, I would have preferred an opportunity to sit down and meet with someone rather than having to describe everything through email. However, due to the logistics, that wouldn't have been efficient because they're in California, and I'm in Florida. Although that was outside of their control, it would have made the process better if it had been possible. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd advise being patient with Koderspedia. If you feel they don't completely understand a request, don't make assumptions; sometimes, they understand but don't necessarily let you know. Give them time to handle the request, and they'll follow up to ensure they do what they've promised.

When I initially reached out to them, they took the time to hear out our requirements — we needed to finish the project in a week, so it was a pretty quick timeframe. To jumpstart the project, we screenshotted the areas we needed to address. Then, we went on a call together to go through the website. They did everything we requested and ensured we were on the same page.

When we started working with them, we asked them for the timeframe we needed, and they let us know that they could complete it. They contacted us every step of the way and promised that if it weren’t done by our deadline, it’d be done sooner, which was even better.

Project management was the best. We initially communicated through Thumbtack. After that, we started communicating via email and phone. We contacted them as needed.

We had them working with me on this last project, and I had to communicate with them a bit more because I was missing some information, so I had to get back to them. Nonetheless, every time I reached out, they responded right away. I never waited long for a response or wondered if they were going to do the work or not. Overall, we felt confident about their performance.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They stood out for their friendliness and availability. When we started talking to Peter, he was immediately friendly and willing to listen to everything we needed. Additionally, their follow-up was perfect — they always reached out to us to see if we needed something else, even after the project was done.

I don’t think so; there wasn’t anything I’d change. We were happy with their service, and we’ve already referred them for another project.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Koderspedia is helping me build my application. I communicated what I needed from them regarding features, how I wanted the app to look, and how many screens I wanted, and gave them the color palette. They explained how they could meet my requirements.

Then, the team started the development from scratch, focusing on making my requests happen. They’ve asked questions and requested information along the way to make sure their work aligns with what I want. Koderspedia has created a logo, wireframes, and an APK file. 

Although the team had the app near ready for launch a few months ago, I decided to revamp it based on my research, and Koderspedia has helped me add more features. Currently, the team is in the final stages of development and anticipates the app to be ready in two months.

They also talked to me like they understood me, whereas other companies came off like they just wanted to get the money. 

Additionally, Koderspedia liked my app idea and wanted to make it happen, seeming more genuine than other app companies, which is why I decided to go with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Koderspedia has exceeded what I thought they could do; they’ve made the app look better and added extra features that I didn’t ask for and benefit me. 

Moreover, they give me great value for money, and they haven’t raised the price for the features they added themselves. Whenever the cost has increased for additional features, it hasn’t been a dramatic change from the original budget.

The team provided me with a contract beforehand, showing me the price and my requirements, so there’s clarity on the agreement. They also provided me with a clear timeline for completing each part of the project. Koderspedia makes sure they meet my needs and address my concerns every step of the way.

Additionally, they’ve helped me out throughout the project and have always been cooperative. For example, they’ve been lenient when I’ve needed to pay 2–3 days after the original agreement. Overall, Koderspedia has always done what I’ve asked — they’re an amazing company. 

How did Koderspedia perform from a project management standpoint?

They have excellent project management; I couldn’t have asked for anything better than the way Koderspedia has managed everything. They’ve been great at meeting deadlines. They’ll give me a due date and often deliver a little sooner.

We usually communicate through emails for formal things, like sending wireframe files, photos or videos. Meanwhile, they’ll call me or text me if they have any questions. Koderspedia records every call to use it as a reference. They also call me back if they’re unsure about anything and ensure they understand what I’ve said. Although we’ve had miscommunications where they understood something differently, we’ve dealt with them quickly and didn’t have issues.

They always make sure they address all my questions and get my point of view. For example, when they delivered the wireframes, they asked me to give them feedback at my earliest convenience to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Koderspedia listened to my idea from the beginning. Other companies just wanted to make sure I worked with them for the money. Meanwhile, the Koderspedia team was asking for information from the start to make sure they could make the app happen. 

Their communication style also distinguished them from the other providers I talked to. Koderspedia has proved my hunch right — they always communicate, and everything’s been turning out amazingly.

No, I haven’t had any issues with them.

My advice would be to communicate with Koderspedia. There was a point in our engagement when I wasn’t communicating as much because I was busy, and we had a minor setback. The Koderspedia team was trying to get a hold of me, and the project wasn’t moving as fast because of me. 

You have to put time aside to make sure you’re communicating everything you need. If you have a feature you want, make sure they know and understand what you’re trying to do. At the end of the day, you’re the storyteller, and Koderspedia will try to make your story happen. Also, they’ll give you the best price point.
