I’m the creative director of Zappshelter, a company that provides innovative, rapid-install shelter systems using shipping containers to create cost-effective, weather-protected spaces for industries such as construction, waste management, and logistics.

What challenge were you trying to address with Kimbley IT?

We needed help with our IT services to remove the headache of IT issues from our growing team.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Kimbley IT provides day-to-day IT support, including device management. The team has also helped us migrate our organization from Microsoft Office 365 to Google Workspace, including all our files and emails. Additionally, they help us with Cyber Essentials and ensure our data and processes are kept secure.

We’ve worked with 2–5 members of Kimbley IT’s team.

How did you come to work with Kimbley IT?

They reached out to us after seeing a post on LinkedIn from our managing director talking about struggling with our IT services. We chose them because their pricing fit our budget, their company values aligned with ours, and they were quick to help and offered a clear plan for moving from Office 365 to Google Workspace.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in June 2020, and we've used them for ongoing IT support ever since.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to Kimbley IT's work, all our systems are online, and we haven't lost any files, which are now on an organized cloud platform. We've also seen a huge reduction in IT issue distractions, which get responded to usually within two minutes. Overall, we're satisfied with their work because everything is streamlined in one system and easy to understand and learn.

How did Kimbley IT perform from a project management standpoint?

Kimbley IT's project management is great. The migration happened over a weekend, and the ongoing support has been quick and flawless. We communicate via email and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm impressed by Kimbley IT's speed of response and general helpfulness.

Kimbley IT’s work has resulted in minimal IT disruptions and speedy responses to any queries. We have no outages, and Kimbley IT’s response times are extremely quick, almost instant.
