Kiamythos Films is contracted as the official marketing lead and primary videography provider for the SYNC Sound and Image Conference, produced by Oscill8 Collective. The scope of work includes complete management of all marketing strategy and execution, as well as the full capture, editing, and delivery of conference media assets.

Marketing Scope:

Develop and execute the full-year marketing strategy for SYNC, including messaging, branding, content planning, and campaign rollouts
Manage all digital channels including Instagram, Facebook, email newsletters, and partner cross-promotion
Design and produce promotional materials such as teaser trailers, save-the-date announcements, ticketing ads, and post-event recap content
Coordinate media outreach, collaborations, and co-branded campaigns with participating organizations
Create targeted marketing funnels to drive attendance and community engagement 

Videography Scope:

Serve as the official videographer for the SYNC Conference, responsible for capturing all core sessions, performances, mixers, and installations
Provide multicam coverage and cinematic post-production for a wide range of content, including:

Recap films and highlight reels
Panel recordings and artist features
Visual content for post-event promotion and future fundraising
 
Deliver all assets in appropriate formats for social, web, and archival use

One of their most effective contributions was working directly with artists and speakers to create tailored reels that promoted the event. These clips became key marketing assets, showcasing the talent involved and drawing audiences in through authentic, engaging content. Kiamythos works exceptionally well with others and brings out the best in collaborators across disciplines.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Kiamythos Films could have done differently?

Kiamythos Films delivered strong results across the board. As the SYNC Conference grows, one area of opportunity is expanding the pre-production timeline for larger content pushes. With more lead time, there’s potential to build layered campaigns around individual artists, sessions, or themes to extend reach even further.

Another area worth exploring is building out a more formal content calendar with key rollout phases mapped in advance. This would support even greater alignment between marketing and programming, especially when coordinating with external partners or sponsors.
