Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner of a digital marketing company. We do websites, graphic design, and branding and handle social media marketing for companies.

What challenge were you trying to address with KGN Technologies?

We have some developers in the US, but there were projects we needed to outsource. I had done some white-label web development work with another offshore company and was disappointed with them. Therefore, I switched to KGN Technologies.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

KGN Technologies provides us with white-label e-commerce and web development services. We handle graphic design and marketing, and KGN Technologies handles website programming and CMS. 

They’ve worked mainly with Magento for e-commerce and WordPress for web development. However, they’re able to handle any technology. 

What is the team composition?

Generally, we work with a single developer for any given project. However, if we never need more expertise, I discuss our needs with KGN Technologies’ owner, and they’ll assign another resource to the project if necessary. 

How did you come to work with KGN Technologies?

I found KGN Technologies through a recommendation. 

How much have you invested with them?

We pay them around $30 an hour, which adds to around $7,000 per month. The monthly price depends on how many resources they provide for a project. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around August 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

KGN Technologies builds efficient websites that work well and have no coding errors or delays— that’s why I continue to work with them. Our previous provider was really inexperienced, and the websites they developed had backdoor and security issues. Meanwhile, KGN Technologies’ websites are done right, which saves us in the long run and enables us to keep customers. 

Moreover, the team is responsible and easy to work with. The owner is smart and accessible; he makes himself available for calls or emails and ensures that his team is programming correctly and the project is moving along. KGN Technologies has the necessary staff for whatever solution we need, and we pay less than we would if we hired one US-based developer. Therefore, KGN Technologies’ is a great contractor resource. 

Overall, KGN Technologies is efficient, and the quality of their work is outstanding. They’re proficient, trustworthy, and honest — it’s been a pleasure working with them. 

How did KGN Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They stay on budget and meet deadlines. We use Skype because it enables us to make calls and Zoom to share images. They use a task management system that I use every day. Overall, KGN Technologies’ project management is very dependable and honest.

What did you find most impressive about them?

KGN Technologies is a very dependable white-label services company. If we don’t have a developer with particular expertise and need to outsource, we want someone that’ll be available and will do a good job. In my experience, KGN Technologies is a rock-solid alternative for offshore developers. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There isn’t anything they need to improve; they’ve very easy to deal with. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

When dealing with an offshore company, you must keep in mind that you’ll have a time difference, so you’ll communicate with them at the end of the day or very early in the morning. Moreover, you can’t have development projects done within 24 hours because of that time difference. 

With that in mind, KGN Technologies is a good fit for anyone interested in their price range. If you don’t mind working with offshore contractors, KGN Technologies’ is a good option in a landscape with a lot of competition.
