I am the owner of a hair salon.

What challenge were you trying to address with Karen Forsythe Photography?

I needed new photographs put on my website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I needed headshots for myself, as well as pictures of the inside and outside of the business, as I was opening a new location. Karen (Owner) has a studio set up in her home, so I went there for the headshots. She then traveled onsite to my salon to take photographs. There was a fee for the headshot day and a travel day to take the business pictures.

When it came to developing my website, I couldn’t find the photographs on my computer, but Karen took the time to find my pictures in all of her work to send them to my web developer.

Karen was the only person I dealt with.

How did you come to work with Karen Forsythe Photography?

I emailed her through her website. From there, we had a phone conversation.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent a few thousand dollars on this engagement.

What is the status of this engagement?

I worked with her from July–August 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I was really impressed with all the equipment that Karen had. Additionally, her ability to work with color stood out. The same was true of her ability to play with light and darkness. She was very talented and has a great eye for detail.

How did Karen Forsythe Photography perform from a project management standpoint?

She was very quick and professional. We typically communicated through emails and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Karen had a good way of making us feel comfortable with her so that she could get a natural look to her photographs. She put us right at ease when doing the headshots. I had gone to someone else first, but I wasn’t happy. Karen was the second photographer I went to, and I was very impressed. She did her job completely without me having to tell her how to do it.

When someone does their work this well, I can't say there is anything they need to change. You can trust Karen to get you the best results possible. She was very talented, and I trusted her completely. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It helps to be clear about what you want. I know exactly what I needed the pictures for and what I wanted them to say, so as long as you can tell her what you are looking for, she will be able to do it. The package depends on how many photos you want to buy, and you get to choose the photos you want.
