My partner and I wanted to create a simple online tool that would allow our wedding guests to RSVP to the big day, select their food options and donate to our honeymoon fund. The site needed to only be viewed by those on the initiation list, easy to use, even for those who were not particularly computer savvy and easy for us to use in order to use the RSVPs.. 

Our original developer ghosted us leaving an incomplete site just a couple of weeks before the invitations went out. Jessica and the team at Jack Applications were quick off the mark and sorted the issues quicklly and without fuss. They provided great value for money too

We wanted to develop a scrapbook-like tool for small kids and their parents and we were looking for a team that can deliver this tool within our budget range and can quickly respond to our requests for updates and demos.

We were new to this but we wanted to build a tool for kids to exhibit their talent. We posted inquiries to multiple vendors, one of which was JackApps. We had one-to-one meetings to explain our concept and waited for their estimates. JackApps’ got the picture and came up with a detailed approach that seemed relevant and a quotation was within our range. Finally, we went with JackApps.

We wanted to build a tool that’s safe for kids to upload their photos, art, videos, etc., and customize the interface as per their choice. JackApps helped us define the SOW, build the designs from scratch, and developed and successfully delivered the tool in a limited time. They used MERN stack technology for building the scrapbook web tool with an admin panel to manage users, data, subscriptions, etc.

Jessica was the POC. Along with her, I was in touch with other members like an Analyst, Designers, Developers, and the QA team.

The tool is running smoothly and it is user-friendly and secure for both kids and parents. We were very impressed with their project management, communication, and quality of their work.

They were very flexible with our recommendations for using Trello and Slack in regards to the project management tool and communication channel.

They have a good development, project management, and communication skills. They understood our project precisely and the best part, they are a pocket-friendly agency.

We are very happy with their work and we don’t see any areas for improvement.

I was searching for an agency or team with similar experience, I tried to find agencies locally and on many other online tools. But, I wasn't satisfied with the price and time estimations. The quality of the Landing page and backend they delivered are just great.

They used the Asana tool for project management and for communication they used Skype. It was easy to deal with.

I found them impressive in what they have done. I must say they were unique compared to the other agencies we interviewed. They’re very polite and confident.

Nothing for me. I’m happy with what they delivered so nothing to consider.

I initially briefed the project out to Jack Application and also my copywriter via a Skype Video call. This helped to establish everyone's team objectives and also timelines. We used Skype group chat so we can converse and keep up to date with the project. Wordpress was the main platform used for web development.

I had direct access to 3 people in their team. Their principal architect, business manager and designer.

No KPI's can be measured just yet from the website as it's not live just yet.

After the update was released on google play, we had received some positive reviews on google play. The app experience is now better and people who left bad reviews changed them to good. We consider that a huge success in our company.

We have research with many different websites for freelancer and have also research around the US. After a 2 weeks assessment of all the developers and their company, we select Groovyweb because of their skill set and their personality that they seem the most qualify and genuine in helping us develop our application.

We spent many weeks with them to understand about our business, working every day with their team to walk-thru our day-to-day work flow by each of our staff roles and responsibilities, we break things down into various modules for our deliverable.

For the technologies side we let Groovyweb technical expert Mr. Sagar to help us decide what is the best tool to use for our project needs.

There were a team of 4-5 people with Mr. Sagar is the main Project Manager of our project. Depending on the scope of the work, most of the time we would have 1-2 senior developer, and then 2-3 junior developer that would work with us.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

What impressed me most about working with Groovyweb is that every module or milestone that we have set, they were able to deliver it on a timely basis. They always kept the cost as we agreed and to the minimum but the quality delivered was top notch.

Many of our nurses and technicians that was involved during the user acceptance phase of the project love the quality and results of the development. In the end, if the End User are happy then they have done their job.

Working with Mr. Sagar is an absolute pleasure, not only is he courteous but his level of knowledge and skills set really help us to hone in on some of the issues that we did not see and his recommendation on how resolve it is phenomenon.

We communicate on a daily basis through Skype via Chat or via video conferencing. Our ability to work side-by-side with the whole development team from Groovyweb really make our project development run very smooth. We never had any miscommunication or misunderstanding of our needs.

Jack Applications Limited provided us with first-class treatment. Working in the IT industry for over 25+ years, it is an absolute treasure to find a company and a team that is dedicated to help clients develop what they want and need.

Area of improvement??Hmm... I guess there are always things that we can improve but for us at this time, we love all of the process and the steps that were developed by Groovyweb to make this a success developement.

I wanted to make an app that would work across all the different poker events.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Jack Applications Limited does mobile app development for us from scratch for Android and iOS. I explained that I wanted a platform where people could hire our services by submitting the information and the accounting for their poker events and even advertise them through the app. After that, we had a couple of Zoom meetings where we pieced together how the app would look and function. Additionally, we went through other platforms to get more ideas of what we needed, and consequently, they started doing the wireframes of our app.

They are also working on website and logo design.

I work with three people from their team, including Jessica (Founder), an assistant, and a UI designer.

We searched through many different developers and shortlisted three. After interviewing all three Jack Applications seemed to have the fasted turn around time and understand what we wanted to achieve more than the other two companies we had spoken with.

They were patient with my response rate and used their initiative at points where my time was taken by other tasks. I liked that I could comfortably leave them to make sound decisions with the design and flow. Furthermore, they accommodated my tight schedule and took on board the responsibility of adding all the products for an extra cost. This saved me a lot of time, and I'm highly grateful for that initiative.

There was one product which they missed the price on, after bringing it to their attention it was changed and resolved.
