As we started to expand our development team, and we hire IZY to fill that gap.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

IZY development is a team of professionals ready to begin work quickly and efficiently to complete the project on time.

They were hired to provide ongoing feature development based on a product roadmap. The front end was coded as the back end in vue.js and ruby on rails. Asana was used as a task management system and GitLab as a git control

We hired two developers who were involved in the project process until the end, and we also contacted the IZY team's HR manager before hiring, which helped us choose the right members for our project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were supposed to hire three or four developers for the project, but the IZY team organized the whole process using only two Full-Stack developers. This saved our budget, all thanks to the professionalism of the team.

Every week the developer we hired prepared feedback on the work done and the problems he solved, so we could know at what stage we were at, which helped a lot to control the process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed with how professionally they work. We thought we needed a whole development team for the project, but we hired two developers from the IZY team, and they finished the job on time. The result was even better than we expected.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think they can provider a dedicated QA person, right now PM does a QA work, but I think a dedicated person would be more efficient.

We needed to redesign our entire customer-facing website. We hired a designer and IZY to implement the design on RoR with the goals of achieving a more modern aesthetic and visual consistency throughout the site.

We initially hired IZY via Upwork and were very impressed by their portfolio and interest in our project

We communicated the design changes that we wanted with Figma and used Markup to provide feedback and request revisions.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are very happy with the final result and have noticed a small but immediate uptick in sales, especially of our most high-value product, since we launched the redesign a few weeks ago.

It was very easy to communicate with IZY via Slack. It was never difficult to reach them and they always responded promptly to our messages. We also appreciated the flexibility to schedule calls whenever they were needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were most impressed by their vested interest in the success of our company and willingness to do whatever it takes to make sure we were satisfied with the final result.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We could have done a better job of defining the scope, and setting some estimates and deadlines at the beginning of the project, but this is as much our fault as it was IZY's and was due in part to the chaotic global situation (war in Ukraine) that was taking place when we started the project.

We successfully launched our internal tool on schedule and without any major bugs. The developer's contributions allowed us to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual workload, which was one of our primary goals.

Yes, all was great and according to the schedule. IZY’s communication was smooth and proactive. The developers provided regular updates, were always available when needed, and quickly adapted to our internal processes and tools (like Slack and Jira).
