I represent a non-governmental organization in which I am a Project Manager.

For what projects/services did your company hire IT360°, and what were your goals?

Our NGO focus is 60% on providing non-formal education to a very broad audience. In the coronavirus era, we have not been able to fully implement our activities. Hence, our goal was to create an e-learning platform that would be easy to use, intuitive, yet easy to navigate.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Word of mouth - by chance we heard some very positive feedback from IT360 customers.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Standard software delivery process - initially a workshop was conducted where IT360 staff helped us see what we actually wanted. They advised us a lot during this time. Then the graphic designer started his work on creating the right look of the platform and after our approval, the work on implementing the platform started.

What's more - we liked the platform delivery process because of the great communication with IT360 - there were Demo Session, Refinement, and Sprint Reviews meetings. The platform was based on WordPress with the use of several plugins. We relied on WP for its ease of use.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

A high-quality platform that has already been used by about 2000 people from all over Europe.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

As I mentioned earlier - communication was top notch. As a project management practitioner, I was surprised how IT360 is aware of how it should communicate with the client. There was no form over substance in meetings or vendor messages.

The meetings that were held: kick-off (once), plannings, sprint reviews, demo sessions and refinements. This gave a very high level of transparency. Also, using YouTrack was very helpful because we could quickly report comments or errors through this system. Tools we used: Gmail, Slack, YouTrack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their individual approach to the customer and no "off the shelf" solutions were impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

More suggestions (benchmarks) that could serve as suggestions for the platform. Better UX (if it is possible to make an e-learning platform better in any way).

Together with IT360 we've successfully migrated most of the company's infrastructure to the AWS services and set up procesees based on which the internal IT team could take care of the new system without any hiccups.

Most of the tasks and projects were delivered on time. The cooperation was very close, and most of the needs were addressed on the way.
